This brings up a fun thought experiment.

Rank the majors based on which one you would rather win.

For me

1. Masters
2. US Open
3. British Open
4. PGA
>British Open
It’s just The Open, mah nigga.

My list is:

The Masters
The Open
US Open
PGA Champ.

I’m going over to Scotland to play the Open courses in a couple months. I was supposed to play Trump Turnberry Ailsa, but TDS-suffering YooKayfags gouged the shit out of the course. Found out today that it won’t be fixed in time, so it got cancelled. Fucking leftoids, TLD when?

Have they ever held the Open at a Trump course? I would rather play courses that have hosted the open more than a trump course oversea's tbh. Unless its Ireland, then I would find different courses

Turnberry Ailsa is still technically in the rotation, but they haven’t hosted since ‘09 and the R&A has stated that the Open won’t be played there until Trump sells it.

I’m still playing the other 4 Open courses in Scotland, but Turnberry is supposedly the best course of the 5.

Picked up some RTZ wedges this weekend and regripped the whole set with the new MCC+4 Align Max grips. Also got the Qi35LS coming from TaylorMade (hoping it ships today since I'm playing tomorrow afternoon). Everywhere here just punched so the greens are all trash, but still beats working.

Moved into the plus handicap for the first time last season and shooting for the +2 to +3 neighborhood this year.

Never thought I'd see the day when Rory finally got over the line but what a fucking tournament that was.

Same. Up there with 2019 for sure (which I didn't think would ever happen in my lifetime).

God damn that's the dream right there. Trying to get my handicap low enough to participate in open qualifiers but its going to be tough

When I got to mid single digit I laid out a roadmap for how I was going to continue improving over the next few seasons.

First step was to really analyze what parts of my game needed the most improvement. I got the Arccos sensors and did a whole season of stat tracking which not only revealed my biggest flaws, but I also used the individual club data to bend my irons and get the gaps perfectly sorted. Made a cheat card that hangs on my bag with all my stock full swing yardages draw/fade, and the back has all my wedge distances for 1/4 (shaft parallel to ground), 1/2 (clubhead at eye level), and 3/4 (lead arm parallel to ground). My GIR and proximity to hole stats all improved massively the following year.

My putting has always been pretty decent, rarely 3-putt and make most from inside 5 feet, but I wasn't making many middies and compared to the tour average I was losing strokes there. I got some of the Strackaline books for my courses here and committed to learning how to really read them. Now gaining 3 strokes a round compared to before.

Last year I worked a lot on fitness and hitting it farther, went from 270-280 average to 295. Now for this year I'm focusing on hitting more fairways. Definitely a slow grind, but so worth it. Golf is incredibly fun when you're scoring well.

This is something I really need to do soon

I called schefflerwinslol after round 2, I should’ve put some money down on it.

You're getting a few lucky breaks on Rahm, because he keeps getting unlucky ones.
I’m not sure if Rahm is capable of winning a major anymore. I’m not a LIV hater, but it seems like the limited season and three-round tournaments have affected pretty much everybody who jumped ship.
