Moved to the south and can barely understand anyone black despite growing up around Chicago. I refuse to because they should simply try some fucking education - can't wait to get out of this state. Spanish has been a nice one to learn

Mostly very simple sentences.
I signed up for tutoring and have been using a specialized AI bot that's part of the tutoring company that has helped me tremendously.

I still struggle with verb tenses outside of present tense and i cant remember a lot of prepositions and conjunctions.

But the other day my gf and i discussed what we were going to eat for dinner after work and it was the best i had done so far, she was able to understand me.

I feel a bit like a cheater bc i have to google what verbs are what most of the time then conjugate it in my head. But its better than i was doing two weeks ago. The tutoring AI bot helped me alot.

I had some extra time while I look for a new job, and to prevent me being a depressed fucker I figured I might as well learn a language.

Chose Japanese because fuck localisers, and I also wanted a challenging language. Since picking up Japanese as a monolingual brit definitely seems like it's much harder than something like French (plus, who wants to learn French lol?).

I'm about 3 weeks in. Mostly been doing grammar so I can actually put together sentences (I can hold off on Kanji for a lil bit). Just playing about with the language right now and trying to see how moving different particles around can make things work.

jokes aside, si tu nivel de español todavía no te permite leer literatura podrías leer tebeos (comics) en plan Mortadelo y Filemón o ver series en español como Aquí no hay quien viva. Recomendaría pelis pero creo q eso ya sería igual de difícil que leerte un libro.
