Anyone here who thinks that Link's Awakening is unironically the best Switch Zelda game?

Already made this post on /v/ so decided to bring it here. To each their own I guess, but the Skyrim style gameplay of Breath of the Wild/Tears of Kingdom doesn't really appeal to me much and Skyward Sword's pretty meh to me, which only leaves Link's Awakening HD. I don't know how popular/unpopular this opinion is but I really dig the artstyle. It's so cute.

I do like Link's Awakening, but it's hard for me to call it the best. I like the new art style they gave it, but the performance was pretty laggy when going to a new screen, when Link Between Worlds had no issue on much weaker hardware, and asking a full $60 for the game is pretty steep. But that aside, I do really enjoy the more contained Zelda games more than the BOTW style ones. I wish they had also done Seasons and Ages and budled them in some way.

Once I modded out the tilt shift blur and added a patch that eliminates the area transition stutter to maintain a stable 60fps frame rate I enjoyed it a lot more. Some good QoL over the original, and the art style is seriously cute. Yeah, good remake all around.

I like it more than BotW/TotK, but if you're even counting ports then the best Zelda on Switch is either LttP/OoT. Link's Awakening is good but more mid tier in the franchise.
No I'm not including the ports here, cuz obviously Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask would top the list if you include those. I'm only talking about the releases, i.e. Link's Awakening, BOTW, TOTK and Skyward Sword.

No need to debate me fellas, I know this list is perfect and we are all in agreement here. Nintendo hasnt made a good Zelda game since the Gamecube era. The switch version of LA is just an update on an already perfect handheld game. emulate it to fix that tiltshift and the horrible FPS though

3D Zelda in general sucks shit. Link's Awakening DX is a top five game ever made. Switch version is gud.

My man doesn't even play the DX edition of Link's Awakening. I can respect a purist.

Phantom Hourglass & Spirit Tracks have their flaws but they're really good. Now after that, yeah, they're all pretty mid at best.
I just couldn't get into Spirit Tracks. The train thing was dumb, especially after the total freedom of Hourglass's boat. I will say that the first area's train music is top shelf though. It's basically the Default Train Music in my mind.

On topic: I'm one of those weirdos who absolutely loves BotW, and I've been playing Zelda games since before most of you were born. Zelda has always experimented with wildly different styles as early as the second game. There are very few entries that I'd consider anything less than great.
