Anyone know how to block ads from MS Solitaire? - I'm retarded

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
I'm gonna dowload the Win7 games that you guys posted here. Is there a way to make it run from a USB? I don't want to fet in trouble. My bosses are boomers and the rest are technologically retarded, but you never know.

1. Go to Archive.org
2. Play Masters of Orion 2, DosBox runs in the browser.
3. Go home, time really flies when playing Master of Orion 2.
They pulled the same shit in Master of Magic by giving Dwarves the option to build Golems (or Glamim) once you have an Armorer's Guild in a given town belonging to them

I'd recommend PySolFC, it has a bajilion of card games and Mahjong games all bundled into one, with a ton of customization options as well. However it's not portable and comes with an installer option only, and frankly, I don't know why it's not on PortableApps.com already given how all that is needed to make it portable is a single AppData redirection.

So, here's the newest version pre-packaged into the PortableApps format. Assuming your IT dept. isn't up to standard, you should be able to just pop in a USB stick and run PySolFCPortable.exe no problem and enjoy your time sink.

There's a good principle that's been on full display in this thread: whenever you're dealing with modern day enshittification, remember that things from the past are more easily accessible than they've ever been. So, in this instance since the newer version of solitaire is pozzed ad-ridden mobile-esque garbage, one can easily search for the unpozzed version and run it.

EDIT: This MEGA link from a literal ten-year-old Reddit thread has the staple Win XP games. Just tried all of them on Windows 11 and they work fine.
