I have a Mac and need to run Windows 10 from time to time. I heard about Windows To Go the other day and wondering if any one managed to make a working portable Windows 10 USB drive? What's the correct steps to do that?

Why not dual boot? Bootcamp supports Windows 10.
I know it, it is a free software, but it seems that it hasn't worked well in the past 2 years. I have used it once and the result has not satisfied me.there's a program called wintousb which is free for personal use (no idea if it's good or not) and apparently there are alternatives if you're willing to dig deeper
wouldn't it just be easier to use boot camp?
EasyUEFI WintoUSB didn't work for you, have you tried UUByte WintoUSB Pro?I personally think that it works better on Windows 10 than EasyUEFI WintoUSB.My MacBook Pro has only 15GB free space left and there is no room for installing Windows.
P.S I tried EasyUEFI WintoUSB and got an error, saysing "Failed to run system API (0x0005001501B20000)" and Balena Etcher does not support Windows 10 ISO
Yesterday I used Wintousb again,it succeeded this time but it was not easy.To create a portable windows 10 usb,i prefer UUbyteWintoUSB Pro, because it is easy to operate, only a few simple steps are required.I know it, it is a free software, but it seems that it hasn't worked well in the past 2 years. I have used it once and the result has not satisfied me.
