There has been some interesting developments for one of the premier Apex Legends comp teams, TSM. TSM has a sponsorship with a crypto exchange called FTX which included adding FTX to some of their player's names, I'm not sure of the exact arrangement but I do know of that from watching the players. Apparently FTX experienced a "hack" and a large amount of crypto was stolen, $370m dollars to be exact. article (A). Another interesting and hilarious development is that some of the people at the top of FTX are attempting to flee to Dubai to avoid prosecution, article (A).

The game itself is pretty stagnant at the moment, they released a new map and a literal tranny character with a FTM voice actor. There are quips that reference their TiM status.
