There are many literally retarded South Asians, due to inbreeding, of course you won't find them abroad, expect in lovely cities like Londonistan or Birminghamistan...
The IQ studies are useless since they only tested Tier 1 cities like Beijing or Shanghai. But East Asians definitely value studying and discipline more.

In terms of IQ, they are not the smartest. Yes, the average is slightly higher than the national sample of European countries as a whole, but it's not broken down by ethnicity. English generally score the highest. Also, their distribution is grouped around the average more so, while Europeans have a large right tail with a small, but significant portion existing in the 130 to 150+ range. It may be the high number of geniuses among Europeans that tend to drive innovation and new technologies.
