Thankfully where I live is nice enough that kids do go out, but not like we used to. In the 80s you’d go out in the morning and be told be back for dinner and that was all your parents expected to see of you all day.
Yes I think we will get dumber. To the point a Something Happens and then natural selection for being smarter and more cooperative and aggressive to outsiders will become an advantage once more. Repeat for millennia.
We badly need a new frontier to explore

All of those generations belong to a unique set of people who lived through a period of technological development that makes the industrial revolution (and its consequences!) look like the invention of the wheel by comparison.

One day, sometime during Y2K, everyone went to sleep, and woke up in a Hell of our own creation. Humanity was clearly not prepared for the past 100 years of technology.
 
I don't think so. I think our technological progress has done nothing but damage us, and we are seeing the direct consequences of it, in the form of progressively more retarded people.

Behind all technological progress is humanity. If technology has affected us badly, I blame people more than anything else. Parents who let their kids have smartphones before they even know what puberty is. What a bad joke.

You're sort of right that it's not the technology, but how you use it, but unethically introduced technology has, again, dealt/amplified the damage itself. There's no getting around that. Whether the Chicken or Egg came first doesn't matter quite as much as dealing with what's happened.

But really, "Technology" to me isn't just iPads. It's all of the materials science that went into developing chemicals for the public works to turn people into trannies with tapwater. The environment isn't doing the damage, it's the shit we created and put into the environment that's making all of these retards, whether by chemical, or information.

This world is fucking poisoned now, and I don't see that ever getting better.

I will tell you why this thing will not happen. Human activity is entirely circular. Anything that has happened will happen again. This thing, our total corruption, has never happened, therefore, it can never happen.

Transracial adoption is not the same as races evolving higher (or theoretically lower) IQs based on their environment. The majority ancestry in Western Europe today originates in Anatolia (Early European Farmers) and the Pontic Steppe (Western Steppe Herders i.e. Proto-Indo-Europeans). Today Western Europe has IQ around 100 and countries like Turkey or the Ukraine have IQs around 90 despite their population still being very genetically similar to 4,000 years ago. Jews are also a great example since we know genetically the Ashkenazim and Sephardim are very similar to the Mizrahim but the latter have far lower IQ than the former two groups of Jews.

Point being if you killed every race in the world beside black Africans or Australian Aboriginals or whatever, after at least 2,000 years or so (Ashkenazim split from other Jews about 1,000 years ago in the Rhineland, and 1,000 years before that the Romans dispersed the Jews) high IQ populations would eventually evolve as these groups spread throughout the world, developed civilization anew in areas best suited for it, and diversified in economic niches and racially for that matter too since racial phenotypes seem to shift over tens of thousands of years.
