Are Ghosts real?

It's just one of those unexplainable things. Most people when pressed with the question about what a ghost is made of, they'll usually say something vague like "energy" or something. But what kind of energy? There's kinetic energy, potential energy and rest energy. Humans consist of all three. We have the kinetic energy of our hearts beating and the blood flowing through our veins, the chemical potential energy in our bodies and rest energy, which is basically what we're made of (mass). This is inconsistent with a "ghost." Ghosts can pass through solid objects, which, if it was energy, would be impossible (see the Pauli Exclusion Principle and Newton's Second Law of Thermodynamics). This would only make sense if they were photons, which even that would be kinda stupid (see refraction). Although in the 1800s, there was the 21 gram experiment, but even then when people die they tend to release a lot of gas, so that could explain it. They're often seen in orbs or gusts of smoke, so perhaps it could be the osmosis effect? I dunno.

Could something with properties somewhat like we describes as a ghost exist in the universe? Maybe, there's a lot we don't know.

Let's do some math:

-Roughly 105 billion humans have been born since the dawn of humanity.

-There are currently nearly 8 billion humans living today, so let's just round it off and say that 100 billion people have died in human history.

- if even 0.0001% of the people who have died became ghosts, there should be about 100,000 ghosts floating around right now.

- Thats about 10x the amount of tigers currently on Earth. More than enough to have undeniable evidence At this point.
