Well the thing is, good trolling has to do one of two things:

1. If you aren't aware you're being trolled, it should get you upset enough to reply
2. If you are aware it's trolling, it should be funny

Sadly, HHH doesn't fall into either of those for me anymore due to how samey he's gotten, which in turn has made the asshurt he generates also very samey. If he changed it up just a little he could get 10x the asshurt with the same effort and be considerably funnier.

I'd say that there's multiple reasons: First there's the typical pick me behavior. You see it with troons that are "nazis", open faggots who will call themselves "traditionalists", niggers/mexicans in white supremacist movements, etc. Because they get more attention by being the resident retard in a movement that (in paper) hates them, they are willing to pretend to believe in such things and parrot those points. Pearl Davis grifting off of the Tate brand lf the manosphere while being a woman who also had sex with black men on the regular also comes to mind.

Then there's the people who believe themselves to be "the good ones". The good nigger, the good tranny, the good faggot. They are people who, due to one way or the other, end up geniunely supporting a movement that wants nothing to do with them (maybe because they believe that said movement has the upper hand, and thus want to side with the winning side before things get ugly). They are the useful idiots that Lenin talked about.

Then there's the people who grow disillussioned with a movement, try to change, and overcorrect while at the same time being unable the entirety of their past positions behind. You see it with people who basically bounce from one political extreme to the other. Neo-nazis who became commies, troons who become anti-troons, and so on. @Ruin/@Sniperwoof is an example of the latter, as he was a troon who ended up as the typical A&N poster, but who also seethed like no other whenever someone pointed out that he was a troon. Said people will most of the time get fed up and leave once too many jokes/comments hit too close home.

There's probably more reasons as to why, but I can't think of any lf them right now
