I've been adhering to the "no men in the DMZ" rule since it existed.

It's not about making women happier, it's dudes who wouldn't have been allowed to vote 10 years before woman's suffrage hit forgetting about how voting actually used to work. The point of this is that the big issue everyone forgets is that right now, if I walked outside and called my neighbor a nigger, to his face, genuine, IRL, hate crime grade action, and he punched me in the face, HE would go to trial and the question would be why HE punched ME. So no I don't think that the genderseethe threads are hurting the site. I think people getting worked up about those threads is hurting the site. The solution I propose is that you don't go into the threads that make you mad and you put users that make you mad on ignore.

The issue is that people LIKE to be mad, they like to get angry, and they like to fling shit. Typically in these environments, you'd dump the whole thing into spergatory and let them go at each other like ants. It's in their nature.

If that's a valid solution let's crack open the DMV and tell everyone to ignore people they don't like and watch the problem delete itself.
