io dont recall who it was, but i have seen a user or two over the years get upset over lolcow news being featured. it does happen, but i dont think enough to warrant it being a stereotype of us A&N posters.

I don’t know. Featuring a thread calls in the masses and practically guarantees it’ll turn into a circus for the next several pages. I would’ve guessed it would be the non-A&H users getting upset when their favorite lolcow gets a feature.

I, for one, like the circus and am sometimes part of why featured threads get bloated.

I would occasionally get upset when Onision got featured, but that's only because some people can't be assed to read a cow's page before commenting. It would be the same dumb questions over and over. I'll admit, in the past, I would ask redundant questions, as well. But the Onision thread was at about 1,000 pages when I started lurking, and I somehow missed a few crucial events in his history while reading it. That does not excuse my poor posting behavior. In short, people shit up threads when a cow gets featured, making it harder to find actual information.

The only cow I'm really interested in is Chris and now that he's become a complete bore I only use the Farms for A&H and the Off-Topic boards. I don't get mad when lolcow stuff is featured, but I do get irritated when the featured content box gets obnoxiously long.
