r/conspiracy at least allows you to question mainstream news & I have seen at least a few replies that were so politically-incorrect they would have gotten the user site-banned anywhere else. They also laugh at partisan politispergs.

KiA was pozzed cancer from day 1. The important discourse happened on IRC, imageboards (with 4chan breaking containment), and Twitter. The Redditards sat back and wanked over what everyone else did. Reddit was home to ShitRedditSays and was always implicitly enemy territory as a consequence. It was THE SJW hub.
