Are there Any Woke Properties that you Unironically Enjoy?

Just FYI he was also involved in Hyenas.
That isn't really gonna ruin the performance for me or anything. You just don't get extremely entertaining charismatic psychos as villains very often. Especially now-a-days where almost everything sucks. Lalo Salamanca is a good one.

I don't really care about woke shit in video games because those culture war politics bore the hell out of me but here's some stuff considered "woke" that I really like:

  • Undertale/Deltarune. Decent RPGs with wacky characters. Toby Fox is a cool dude.
  • Danganronpa. I'm a bit of a vnfag so I liked the games. Pretty homosexual but pretty good series.
  • D4DJ. Gacha rhythm game full of lesbo tranime characters but the rhythm game aspect is good.
  • Resident Evil series. Apparently full of DEI and stuff but I like it a lot.
  • Project DIVA. I'm an old Vocaloid fan, but I suppose songs like Magnet are considered pretty gay, so it's woke. The rhythm games aren't the best out there but they're pretty fun.

If by "woke" you mean "progressive propaganda", then I can say that no, not really. I have reached the point that any progressive bullshit totally derails any suspension of disbelief that I have, and I am long past the point of holding my nose to get to the "good part" of the game/movie/book/etc. because the simple fact is that I have way too much stuff I want to do, and do not want to waste it on propaganda made by people who hate me. I personally favor the metaphor of "woke" being feces in your food or water, because that is frankly how I view it at this point, and even 1% feces is too much feces for me. WARNING! Sperg rant ahead.

Take The Last of Us, a game I used to like a lot, and at this point I can not stand it. Your business partner at the start is a ball busting shrew, the leader, stronger than you, braver than you, more moral than you, and serves as the entire motivation for Joel to do something other than be a shitbag. The whole time Joel does her commands and follows her like a lost puppy, then the only reason he takes Ellie because of her, not because he has any actual agency or motivation. You're over halfway the way through the game before Joel actually makes a fucking decision for himself that isn't an extension of doing what the girl boss told you to do at the start. I can't even make it past the start of the game without being taken completely out of the story by their retarded feminist bullshit that they added exclusively to push their god awful ideology.

They could have made Nicole the brains behind the scenes and Joel the brawn and frontman (because obviously male criminals won't respect a fucking woman!), so they each have something to contribute, but that wouldn't be enough insufferable ugly girl boss so obviously you can't have Nicole show her capabilities with anything but direct violence and incredibly masculine behavior. Nope, she's just Joel, except better but with a vagina. Again, that's just the intro, and I could bitch even more about it!

Or take Worm by Matbow that @Moral Decay mentioned, which is another story I used to like. Well, I made the mistake of revisiting it a couple of years ago, and what a shitshow. The Undersiders have not one but TWO interracial white and black couples, including BMWF despite that being the rarest kind. Despite being just 3% of the population, homosexuals comprise 33% of the Triumvirate. Brockton Bay has racially homogenous gangs, but it's only presented as a bad thing when whitey does it. The story is late 2000s/early 2010s when we were still about 70% white, but with the racial make-up of the cast, you would think we were 20% because it's non-whites all over the fucking place. This also segues into one of my other major criticism of progressive propaganda, which is the things that are not included in the story when they absolutely should have been:

Where are all the fucking guns in Worm!? It takes place in America, the divergence point was 1980, so why the fuck aren't there guns all over the fucking place? Most capes in the story would die immediately if shot in the chest, more than half of them are villains or outright evil, so why aren't far more guns being used? Even if you hide behind the unwritten rule of heroes and villains using cops and robbers style honorable combat rules, that doesn't include normalfaggots. If I lived in a world where there were a bunch of demigods with magic powers, you wouldn't ever catch me without anything less than a full sized magnum pistol on me, or ideally a .308 battle rifle. Even if that wouldn't stop something like Crawler, it would kill most other capes quite easily because they're humans with magic powers. The fact that the writer basically ignores guns takes me completely out of the story, because there would be capes getting shot left, right, and center for the shit they pull. Matbow ignoring guns because his ideology tells him not to like them makes for his "America" to come off as an extremely inorganic, fake place that doesn't feel like an actual setting, and that's a critical flaw that pervades the entire story from start to finish. At least My Hero Academia had the good sense to set the story outside of the nation with the most firearms on planet Earth and largely bypass that problem.

Currently watching the newer Interview with the Vampire TV series [...]
Hopefully it stays good. I can see the potential for it to get bad and we've got 3 seasons to go, iirc.
Update : It gets bad, but more bad-writing bad than woke bad. S1 is a fun time with good production values that covers the original book; S2 is all over the place but does feature a black vampire screaming 'MAGICAL FUCKING NEGRO' in response to someone gaping at him after seeing him do something supernatural.

Danganronpa. I'm a bit of a vnfag so I liked the games. Pretty homosexual but pretty good series
I'll admit I unironically liked Dangan too because I like whodunnits and it did a great job of leveraging the extremely dumb scenario to make interesting court puzzles. Minor fuzz for spoilers, but the specific case in 3 involving someone killed in a way that leaves no identifiable body while another character is testifying via a remote link that doesn't reveal their identity (leaving you to debate not only which of the two missing characters died, but how the other could've killed them) was really clever and memorable.

The Rosa Parks episode was one of the dumbest things ever done in Doctor Who. The evil future racist wasn't even trying to assassinate Rosa Parks, he was just trying to stop her getting on a bus. He was going to somehow prevent the civil rights movement from happening by doing this. Somehow this nonsense got nominated for a Hugo award.
I love the bit in the episode where the doctor and her white friends take the seats in the front and force her to sit in the back while they sob about white guilt (yes this really happens in the episode).

I quite enjoyed "American Psycho," it was woke before woke was cool:

Recently watched Robocop and Starship Troopers. There's a lot of media from commies and similar that's cool, really, as long you don't think that an art needs to agree with you to enjoy it.

In the end good woke media is still good. Padilla's shit Robocop remake is shit, his earlier Elite Squad was good even if both are "police bad the movie"

I don't know where this would fall. Gay (but seldom LGBT) fiction is unapologetically libertine and so are most of the authors, but it has such an inward focus to a niche audience that it is highly critical of internal politics and issues and some of it is rather regressive, or supports the status quo of masculinity...because it turns dudes on, but still. It also annoys the queers because it celebrates aesthetic and poetic beauty and goes straight for touchy subjects.

It's probably of interest to few here, but that also extends into literary fiction where marginal and minority writers are, contrary to the hyped up propaganda and best seller lists, rather transgressive and critical from an internal locus. The upper echelons of the craft tend to be politically non-euclidean and very nuanced with the topics and themes they present, even when their surface politics are garbage, or they're just fuckin nuts. I find the niche works meant more for internal consumption to be more palatable than the idpol agitprop.

I played Celeste and actually really liked it, but then the Farewell update came out and Madeline, the main character, became an MTF troon as she is now apparently the self insert of the developer, who calls himself "Maddy" now. I like how he couldnt make a new character with his barely disguised fetish so he just made one of his pre-existing characters one

I like the Flanagan series on Netflix: Haunting of Hill House, Bly Manor, Midnight Mass, The Fall Of The House Of Usher, etc. the series is pretty woke and it got progressively worse. Not near anywhere American Horror Story ended up, each series at least had good writing and it was well performed overall. Plus it landed that child actress in hill house and bly a lead roll in M3gan. It's very woke but a guilty pleasure.

Undertale/Deltarune. Decent RPGs with wacky characters. Toby Fox is a cool dude.
I agree, while I fucking dislike the faggot shit Toby has put on both games, I like his overall attitude and fun ideas. I'm patiently waiting for Chapter 3-5 of Deltarune.

The whole developer trans shit has put an unwashable stink on that game for me, it just reeks of fetish as you said.

It makes it really easy to spot wokeophiles nowdays.
Retards letting them in and ruining their own company is also just another form of "survival of the strongest".
It's like STD and you pay with everything you have

I know its more proto-woke than truly woke, but Modern Family it's my guilty pleasure. I know its a pretty normie series but it sometimes manages to have some clever jokes and wordplay, and the characters work so well in the early seasons.

Insomniac's take on Spider-Man is a lot more socially progressive than other games in the franchise, but I like the universe a lot. Latest game was a bit of a mess, but a fun one at least.
