There have been a surprising amount of serial killers in the US since 1995. But most are random shooter killers since all the forensics, cameras and location data make it hard to do the "intimate" kind of murders that older shitheads got away with too many times.

They're all in third-world countries where the police aren't competent, DNA profiling isn't widespread, and surveillance measures are nonexistent. I wouldn't be surprised if there were serial killers in the "zoomer" age bracket in places like the Congo who have killcounts in triple digits.

But in the first world? No. They don't have the patience to plan that sort of thing out, and - forgive me for saying this - they don't have the balls, either. They've lived in a world where Big Tech and the NSA has been looming over them and collecting everything they do for their entire lives, and they've all internalized it. They make jokes about being friends with the FBI handler watching them through their laptop cameras. That's why all you see now are these suicidal spree killings that take very little planning to carry out, because it is really difficult to preemptively stop them from happening.

If Dahmer were born after 9/11, he'd just be a school shooter. Or a pinkpilled Discord tranny. Maybe both.

Good luck trying to become the next Ted Bundy when every college girl has multiple internet connected GPS trackers and a Life 360 subscription never-mind the thousands of CCTV's. You'd be arrested within hours to days of your first murder.

There will always be bums, crack whores, runaways from shitty households, and other people nobody cares about. If you were to murder one of those and the body is never found you'd be home free.
