I'm not talking exactly the fandoms like BTS stans.
but the equivalent to the guys who spend enormous amount of money for someone just to mention them on livestream etc
 
Back in the day we had Beliebers and Twilight moms. I guess they could count.
 
kind of, but they mostly simp for fictional characters so I don't think it's really fair to compare them
whereas the dudes lust over some streamer they'll never meet by giving them thousands of dollars, the girls buy thousands of dollars worth of merch of their hubby instead and gets into fights with fellow retards over who can "have him"
 
If you mean as in ones who actually give money, I don't think that's common at least in the west. For the Asians though the gender dynamic is a bit different, because their men have lower testosterone levels than your average Hispanic woman.

If you only mean weird women who are obsessed with guys online who they've never actually met, I know those definitely exist. Have you ever heard of Mad At The Internet streams? The guy who runs that has a bunch of insane women who are obsessed with him.

There's a crazy chick called Rachel who is the star of the Spoony thread. Overweight, unfortunate-looking, stupid to the extent that she may be clinically retarded. She has spent 10 years trying to get senpai to notice her, tagging him multiple times every day on Twitter and throwing money at him every time he livestreams, even though she is perpetually behind on her rent and has been evicted several times over the course of the thread. She expressed no interest in pro wrestling until Spoony started doing wrestling content, but has since announced several times that she wants to be a pro wrestler, despite being in her 30s, pushing 400lbs and riddled with assorted maladies including arthritis to the extent that she can't walk more than a few hundred yards without falling over and injuring herself.
