Pretty much what Uberpenguin said, but it's a good reminder that the internet back then had just as many freaks then as it does now and in some ways, it was more tolerant of the weirdness then today.

This forum used to have a selfie thread for users to facedox on, On that self-admitted tranny thing, being trans wasn't an automatic death sentence on here or even the rest of the internet back then. This place has had quite a few trans mods. Being an oldfag doesn't mean you have some clarity on how to function online, if anything, it can make you too comfortable and willing to powerlevel. There's a lot of users on here of all sorts of join dates who overshare but they get lucky in that they're not interesting enough to mess with.

No, he knows a lot of 2014 oldfag lore. I think it's somebody who joined when we were completely soft and weird and autistic and everyone powerlevelled all over the place, and then drifted away from the site and spent five years or so in a weird CWCKIfarmers discord, then left or got kicked out or whatever and came back and hasn't adapted.

Definitely an old fag. I've gotten to page 45 and they're someone who knows way too much about Kiwi lore and culture to have just walked in to cause shit.

People forget how retarded the internet truly was a decade ago and the kind of people who were active in board/chan culture during it.

I think Horseshoe Theory is possibly applicable here. There might be a sweet spot most users sit at between being completely new to the real Internet and being here too long.
Alternatively, people that feel too at ease will eventually spill their skettis on a long enough timeline.
Regardless it's bizarre to see someone who should know better be so impossibly retarded. It's kind of hard to watch for me but this isn't Normiebook and while you might make meaningful IRL friendships through the Farms the forum isn't your buddy, guy.
People should never forget we're here to talk about lolcows, not ourselves.
