Dyslexia is not a verbal disability, it is a learning disability specifically with the written word. My dad has it and was identified by a nun of all people in the 60s when he was only 6 years old. The previous year he was smacked with a wooden ruler on the hands for being left handed. He was taught to read and write fluently from a young age with one on one therapy.
Dyslexia is a learning disability which as a diagnosis means you cannot be retarded to have it. It means you have struggles in very specific learning areas but not a global deficiency, that is an intellectual disability which I believe you have. You went to a good private school and your dyslexia would likely have been screened for and treated from a young age and would not be noticeable in your typing errors by now.
There's no shame in being retarded but don't bring down people with LDs by associating yourself with them to look better.
