Are we being indoctrinated that revenge is bad?

Uhh I think revenge is a moral obligation in the case of rape. If someone rapes your sister or kid or something, and you know it's them, it's your duty to kill them, especially considering the state won't do it for you.
Fuck that, I'll never forget the story of the guy who not only allowed but helped destroy his own son's life over the FAKE rape accusation made by his step-daughter.

And what was the reason that girl utterly ruined that boy's life to the point his dad (traitor) said he was on meds and suicide watch, expelled from college and ostracized by all his friends?

She was fucking around with a some dude and didn't want the flack so she made an excuse, tee-hee!

And they believe it until shit got too heavy for her and she confessed, else the boy would've ended in jail assuming he didn't sudoku himself before the sentence.

The only consequence for the girl was getting sent to the other end of the country, which works for her because now nobody will know she's a lying whore who destroyed her family over a fling. The boy's life is still destroyed, under your system should the boy be allowed to revenge murder her? his father too who betrayed him?

Or what about the guy who spent 20 fucking years in jail over a fake rape accusation with no evidence only for his accuser to text him a "my bad, sorry-not-sorry" admission that it was all fake right after he got out? what if he had been revenge-killed by her family? shouldn't the entire family be executed if found it was fake?

Maybe of all the crimes that should be met with death, one which is often found to be lied about with no consequences for the accuser and gets a sentence with little evidence shouldn't have the death penalty?

I remember watching the movie directed by Martin Scorsese known as Cape Fear, A serial killer played by Robert DeNiro gets released from prison and stalks and kidnaps a family.
They ultimately killed him by chaining him to a broken piece of the boat and he drowns.

If anything, if anyone stalks you, tries to ruin your life and tries to rape and even kill you and security refuses to do anything about it. There's nothing wrong with killing someone who poses a serious threat to you. I still wonder how many Europeans ultimately killed their rapists because politically correct security rules in favor of the rapist rather than the victim. I also wonder how many victims were wrongfully sentenced to prison over defending themselves.

I actually questioned the Mormons about it too and even many of them agreed over this kind of self defense.

2,000 years of basing our morality and culture almost entirely on Christian teachings are not erased by a department store switching to 'Happy Holidays'.
Its a dying religion with no political relevance beyond temporal boomer outrages in bumfuck nowhere, enough with the cope.

Yes and it's probably justified. Proper Revenge requires almost excessive patience and timing for most people in order to get away with it and having too many vandalism and murders go unsolved causes problems in the social order. That's not to say it's never justified but it could easily spiral into a long cycle down a drain without restraint and its usually not worth it.

There’s a saying attributed to Confucius: before you embark on your quest of revenge, dig two graves.

Explanation: Because if you’re not above killing someone else for revenge, you can bet your bottom dollar that someone who cared about your victim isn’t above killing you, so you may as well have a nice grave they can conveniently place you in rather than get left on the side of the road somewhere.

I’m anti-revenge. Every time I’ve taken revenge for anything, I never felt better. I felt worse; guilty for coming down to the level of those who hurt me. Only my honor is injured in the process, and the revenge victim goes on to look like a martyr (or at the very least, a victim of my pettiness and cruelty; even if I was wronged first and more seriously.)

So yes, you’re told revenge is bad because it is bad. Unbridled revenge devolves into blood feuds and horrible violence. It’s not a good thing.

No, revenge is bad, who are you to decide what justice is, who are you to decide what is right or wrong, you must be some kind of authoritarian egomaniac who thinks he's god, let the police and your government handle it, they're the experts.
Who decided that the police know objective right and wrong, who decided that the government know. I know you post is joke however that very same statement can be used against the person using it

That's simple friend, we live in liberal democracy, the worst government except all others ever tried. Your government is decided by the people, who are you to go against the will of the people, only silly children think they are cool to hate things that are popular.
