I have seen truly boring lolcow content getting archived day after day. No one would bother to spend more than 30 second looking at the content, much less archiving it on another site like people here do.

Can they be considered a fan of a lolcow after spending extraordinary time and effort invested in following and documenting the antics of their chosen cows? Where else would a cow's every post be shared and discussed with such enthusiasm

Yes

Being a fan usually implies admiration and appreciation of the chosen person's abilities. If we are being real for a second, a lolcow follower doesn't really fit the description. But maybe you could spin it around as being a fan ironically or an antifan.

I think two main reasons why people document weird people on the Internet are:
A) Escapism and trying to avoid their own problems;
B) A sense of autistic justice/interest when seeing a fucked-up weirdo who may and will probably cause a lot of trouble in the future. Better keep an eye on them.

It all boils down to most people being terminally online and bored out of their minds.

i could see the kiwi farms dating app coming after the 4chan dating app happened.

NGL sometimes i do see LONG ass posts and wonder if it's kinda pathetic to care this much about random strangers that don't know nor care about you at all

Especially if it comes off as more seething and jealousy

Sometimes I see thread with cows that's just a regular white trash methhead or commom subtwt user and I don't understand why people would gather to discuss them. They're so common, go on social media and you can find thousands that's exactly the same

Nah, we're all autistic to some degree but thankfully not all of us are like the worthless faggots who do nothing but sit around throwing tantrums over threads that aren't polished to complete perfection because it triggers their severely autistic OCD.

I personally am just here for the good shit, I enjoy viewing and sharing genuinely funny cringe content. I'm not one of the losers who obsessively stalks lolcows for "clout" or hate watches every identical garbage unfunny video cyraxx craps out so I can bitch about it for the 100th time.

I am no superfan. My interest peaks every now and then. Cobra is my favorite, but I can visit this site every day for month without stopping in that thread. Jos browsing off topic threads and taking sneak peaks at cow threads unfamiliar to me. Then when something happens I might follow intensely for couple of weeks.

I'm not a superfan. I sometimes envy the crowd who don't live on the internet as we do, where if we name-dropped people like Chris-Chan or Andrew Ditch or WingsOfRedemption .etc .etc They wouldn't have a clue, probably think you're weird and resume their business without a damn care in the world. They're too busy to give a single shit as to what happens online and damn them for having that simplicity over us.

Maybe we all need to log off and touch grass

there's been a few times I've come close to buying merch, like the Deagle Nation shirt that didn't happen
for some reason we didn't get the paper from Jan's mom, like I think one of us was unemployed amd "doodles by a weird guy pretending to be a stupid guy" wasn't really a _need_
almost tried to get the woggleplush but figured I'd get ripped off (which apparently many did)
