I haven't gotten it, and I'm not going to. I had a case of anaphylaxis when I was young and it was bad enough to steer me away from any type of synthetic material being injected into my body. I don't have any comorbidities to worry about, and I take pretty good care of myself. I figure I have a good chance of just shrugging off the coof should I come down with it. Having said that, I want my friends and family to get vaccinated if possible. I'm not going to bug them about it though.

Vaccine reactions, while rare, are scary as fuck. I'm sorry that happened to you. I'd be wary of it, too. A friend of mine actually had seizures (with no history, personal or family, of epilepsy or any other kind of seizure) after getting gardasil. She said she was still glad she got the shot (cervical cancer is scary yo) but WOOF if I were her I'd probably never get a vaccine ever again. Not even for covid, unless it's a situation like above.

I've been hesitant of getting it before, but I might do so when it passes FDA approval. While I don't believe in many of the conspiracy theories surrounding the Covid-19 vaccines, I still do think it's a bit premature getting a brand new vaccine that hasn't even been fully approved yet.

I’m kinda feeling regretful that I got the vaccine. My anxiety was so bad (was worried I was gonna get covid and die, or the shot was gonna kill me) so I got the shot, and felt some relief briefly. It’s been almost a month since my second dose (never had any side effects other than sore arm) and the past few days I have been having this anxiety that the vaccine is gonna kill me. I’m pretty sure I’m just retarded. But I also blame all of the fear mongering the last year and a half.

Nobody should feel bad about getting the vaccine. It's probably fine, and trust me, you really don't want to get COVID if you can avoid it.

What do you think changes when it gets FDA approval? If all you were waiting for was FDA approval you should've just gone out and gotten it right away because there's almost no chance(barring a incredibly high percentages of deaths/reactions) that the jabs were ever going to not be approved. If you were hesitant because of the long term side effects nothing changes with FDA approval because no one knows the long term side effects yet, and anyone who claims to have knowledge of them is undeniably a liar.

It makes sense that people who have way over a 10% chance of dying from something (and have more experience in general) would grasp the cost/benefit ratio of a little jab versus the possibility of dying or wheezing like a consumptive the rest of their likely to be short lives, while people at an age where they think they're immortal, and have a much lower chance of dying or serious consequences, would say fuck it. People that age also drink and drive more, don't wear seatbelts and helmets and in general make a lot more stupid choices.
