Are you getting the vaccine? - Absolute trashfire thread, please enter with caution

If the vaccine still requires me to wear a mask and social distance what is even the point, I rather wait for a better one.

Besides it's as if there's only one COVID strain.

If however if I have to get vaccinated in order to travel or some shit as a requirement, I have to shrug my shoulders and just go for it.

Tl;dr: Who cares tbh all this argument over this is retarded

Probably will have to at some point. I have a couple friends with health issues who literally cannot take any of the vaccines they will get incredibly sick or die. Diabetes and what not so I guess either the vaccine will kill them or covid will very cool. That being said I don't think any of these vaccines have been throughly tested all the big pharma companies are jumping on the $ train.

Grifters gonna grift. Why would I trust one doctor over a thousand others?
You do know that the "vaccine" only masks some of the Covid Symptoms right? It doesnt' help reduce the spread of the virus what so ever.

Your assumption that my taking the vaccine or not is something that affects you is the ultimate conceit that I can't wrap my head around. If it's so worth taking that everybody needs to take it immediately, why is it simultaneously so useless that you will get nothing out of it unless I take it? People desperately push the vaccine like it's a pyramid scheme, and that's why I'm out.

Seriously, what is so wrong with the idea of a vaccine being a personal choice? If you don't get it and get Covid, fucking sucks for you but you asked for it! If the vaccine is so worth it, it'll protect you!
see my reply above... it is not a vaccine by any stretch of the imagiation. It only masks symptoms. This does not help prevent or slow down the spreawd of the virus what so ever.

Both UK and Israeli numbers/estimations based on the data currently available came in over the past weeks, suggesting infectiousness is reduced by 86-90 percent - which fits the average effectiveness observed in previous vaccines.

No.

This is the UK. We’ll be locked down forever no matter how insignificant the death toll becomes.

There will always be another metric, another fucking strain, another reason to keep fuckers locked up and subservient. So vaccine or no vaccine, what’s the fucking point in any of it?

Dying of gradual lung failure would beat yet another fucking walk or bastard Zoom call. I’ll take my chances with the disease for a bit of variety.

I care because of the selfish retards who wont take it the lockdowns will have to go on for longer, and I dont want to wear a mask in 2022.
You will wear a mask and LOVE it. So says Dr. Faucci and Joe Biden. Keep believing you will get your freedom back unless the elite wish it.
I'll let beta testers like you take it first so I can see the long term effects of each vaccine, then I'll decide eventually whether or not I want to risk it
Nothing wrong with this view.
You guys are like the people who say mmr gives your kid autism
Yes because SHAMING people into giving up their bodily autonomy is the way. People who believe that are on the same of the argument as you. It is safe and tested it is science. People are skeptical because it usually takes YEARS for this to be developed.
I am not taking it yet because I see it being recalled and I do not like the idea of mRNA being injected into me. When I am forced to take it I would go for Johnson and Johnson over these other ones.

Why am I not taking it? No reason to.
1. We STILL have to wear masks.
2. I have no elderly relatives.
3. I would like to see what effects it has to people.

While COVID is of very little risk to my demographic, It's free and I've seen no real reason to avoid it so I'll be getting it. And once it's been offered to every American who wants it, we've done everything we can and I'm done with masks and distancing.
Also, there will never be any reason to check vaccines at most normal places like restaurants and bars. Enough people will refuse vaccination that it will be more profitable not to care. International travel maybe since they already require other vaccines.

You said you were against the covid vaccine in general. That would encompass that, too.

I would say making human life better through biology, like biotechnology. But since you're terrified of new technology, it's pretty obvious you're lying about being a biologist and just googling random shit when you need to. Plus when you didn't even know there are other types of covid-19 vaccines other than the mRNA one and now you're backtracking your earlier claims :story:
If there was some tangible benefit to me, sure I'd want it, but otherwise I don't see why. It isn't like they're handing out a mRNA vaccine that is gonna pump my HGH or test levels up to supraphysiologic levels. Covid won't hurt me, and I've almost certainly already had it

Already had the first AstraZeneca vaccine. I would have held off as long as possible, but I've made significant plans to move abroad later this year, and given how things are again, I reckon being vaccinated will be a requirement by Bong government by the time I leave. It could also be a requirement for my country of arrival by that time. I don't want to get closer to the date only to have that complication thrown up, given how much cash and serious effort I've put in so far.

Second vaccine in about 3 months. First one was horrendous, as I posted in the general Wuhan thread, basically similar to the symptoms I had back in July when I thought I had the coof (which I probably did.) Not to powerlevel, but according to a health worker family member, the vaccine hits HARD if you've already had and recovered from COVID. Checks out.

If some negative shit happens down the line and I become infertile/dead, then fuck me. Shit happens.

If I wasn't moving abroad? I wouldn't get it, unless Bong ordinance made daily living so reduced that I'd compelled to get it.

Hooray it works! Now I can let the virus kill me! Have you brought a plot of land using bitcoin to protect yourself. You likely did not because you are not a skilled tradesman or a 1099er.
