Have you considered that your experience has heavily biased you? I mean you literally work with corpses, you're going to see the worst side of covid. But you don't see the old fat cunts who get it, refuse all care, and are fine a couple days.

To give my side of the coin, I live an area with no covid restrictions and essentially have lived like covid has not existed for around 8 months now. I do not know a single person who has caught it in the last 6 months and only 2 who caught it at all. Neither died or even needed treatment, they just had a flu. Based on my experience, covid wouldn't make the top ten worst medical issues I've personally experienced. If I had to choose between mono again. Or covid I'd take covid in a heartbeat (lol).

People like you and me live in two different worlds. For further contrast, a severe sinus infection has been in my area recently. It infected at least 7 or 8 people I know in the last month and sent several to the hospital including a small child. In my eyes this virus is far more severe than covid, but life goes on and no one cares enough to even name it.

So I get where you're coming from, but try to remember you are seeing the worst of it while many people have not even experienced it whatsoever beyond the lockdowns.

I understand where you're coming from, I'm just extending an olive branch and meet in the middle. It's hard for a lot of us to take this seriously while retarded politicians screamed about the sky falling for 2 years and nothing fucking happens. I have zero emotional response to anything coof related, I've become completely desensitized. It's an absolute nothing burger to me, and there's probably no way to change that at this point short of everyone I know getting nuked by a giga variant.

I think the reality is somewhere in the middle of mine and your experiences. It's a serious disease with serious implications, but it's not the plague the hysterical power grabbers sold us on. And it's far from being serious enough to warrant trampling all over human rights.

We should have taken serious precautions, but instead they cracked down with placebo measures that did nothing but allow the morally indignant to virtue signal. We should have serious dialogues addressing people's concerns instead making treatment into a political binary. Sure, it's more tyrannical. There are places banning people from grocery stores and any form of human life not because they have a disease that kills people, but because they didn't consume the right product. Products that clearly aren't working as promised.
