i had my first jab, got covid through a unvaccinated person. it was very mild though, as in only a occasional cough.

my stance on it right now is that i will get the vaccine once my antibodies arent effective. though i dont really care for covid, anyone else who never had chicken pox as a child is used to this.

the combination of a previous infection plus vaccination is really strong protection. we aren't certain why yet, but it's better than just the shots. and just the shots are better than just a previous infection.
