Are you getting the vaccine? - Absolute trashfire thread, please enter with caution

Who randomly uses that as a comeback?
Your mom?
Well, one of your moms anyways.

Seems like you've all given up talking about the horror show vaccine after those blistering 'L's, and we've digressed into new territory, so we can go finish this on some other thread.

Lol you say those guys are fruitcakes, but you take medical advice from them over actual medical doctors and scientists. You claim that because you read anti-vax Republican boomer FB memes that makes you know more about medicine than medical doctors and scientists. You Republicans love Trump. You aren't a libertarian. Most "libertarians" are just Republicans who are too ashamed to admit they're for a theocracy.

99% of doctors and medical scientists have vaccinated themselves and their families. You are claiming that you know more about it than they do because you listen to Alex Jones, Tucker Carlson and read boomer Facebook memes made by your fellow anti-vax Republicans.
Nigger Trumps been telling his supporters to take the clot shot day one. Stop getting your news from r/politics. You really do give us Hulkamaniacs a bad name

Not to derail this beautiful slap fight, but I've been doing so reflecting recently. I have accumulated all my knowledge about this vaccine from online slap fights, information both positive and negative have come from random assholes online. Generally I like to be a bit more mature and levelheaded with my decision making, so I decided to actually get some real info on this subject. Going out and talking to several doctors (and some acquittances who work in the medical industry) was a truly eye-opening experience, they gave me a much more mixed and nuanced perspective than I was anticipating, it wasn't the blind advocacy I expected. Every concern I brought up was met with honest discussion which they backed up with hard data. Really it was shocking how much I misunderstand or just had bad info on.

For each concern about the vaccine I brought up they were very understanding. Although, they were able to demonstrate how even though my concerns were legitimate, the pros far outweighed the cons. Going through that discussion once didn't mean much, but having multiple experts earnestly talking things over really affected me. Genuinely going into this I didn't think there was any way my position could change, but I was surprised how much it did. Once I'd gotten done talking to them all, I realized my mind had been changed and I scheduled a visit to get the vaccine next week. To anyone disappointed in me changing my stance, consider trying the same thing I did and see where it gets you, regardless of what choice you end up making the experience can only strengthen your position.

No he hasn't. He embraced your anti-vax kind. But then he didn't get credit for the shot and he changed his tune.

Also, lol at admitting you have crippling autism by calling it "clot shot". Also proves my point about you being an uneducated simpleton. Go back to /pol/, or were you somehow banned there so you decided to come here?

What were the pros and the cons *you* weighed they told you about?
What was the deciding factor?
I have no intention to talk you out of it.

At least you're making a decision not based on fear and not trying to silence conflicting views.

And they're gone. They've ended. The fact you're kvetching over them close to a year after they've finished up is hilarious.

Total faggots who were warned, and decided to still try and edge out the government. Ironically, it's helped some folk who got a leg up. A friend of mine finished her Masters in education and managed to get a full time position at a school, for the next six years because of plague rats refusing the vax. Now the mandates have ended, they're crawling back, begging for jobs while they've been replaced totally.

Also it wasn't like masks were hard to find. And the only place you'd truly get fucked is public transport. And in Australia, it's not unheard of to be stopped if you're skipping through without a ticket. Same if you're not wearing a mask. But to get back to it, no one in Australia or any of the places considered "Draconian" gives a fuck about Covid anymore.
Because those mandates killed so many city central business districts, people had lost their homes, had their savings wiped out. The lockdowns destroyed more livelihoods then COVID being let allowed to run loose could have ever had.

The fact you think I'm a plauge rat despite not being vaxxed or really wearing a mask I didn't get covid. All my people who did get vaccinated got COVID even after they got the vaccine. The fact you're not even slightly sympathetic means you're a total piece of shit.

I don't have any of the info off hand, but they brought up some papers and math models talking about how even a 20% reduction in transmission can drastically impact overall spread. Plus they didn't have any anecdotes of patients having odd complications, so that was pretty comforting.

Depends on the country. I don't live in a shithole like the US whose government hates the working class and where any social spending ends in people reeing about communism. But where I live, all businesses received subsidies and were largely able to remain open or at least keep people on payroll. In fact, for minimum wage workers they were guaranteed 1.5k a fortnight. It meant a lot of businesses survived. Although not all, regrettably in the arts sector. But considering they're all a bunch of blue hairs, I doubt your sympathies extend to them.

Now this doesn't automatically mean lockdowns are good. They're still shitty for a lot of reasons. And mental health was definitely impacted. But we were able to open back up in August 2020, and only locked down again in May of the next year for 1.5 months. Which is pretty good all things considered. I'll take having to line up for beers with a mask on, rather than seething at home.

I'm sympathetic because so many plague rats are just cunts. Plain and simple. They'll start a stink when some old Granny asks them to put on a mask. They'll spread weird conspiracy theories. And they simp for billionaire conmen who they call "based" and "trad" despite the fact they're greedy cocksuckers. If some wanker decides they want to throw their professional life away because they consider RT, Carlsen or InfoWars the real news, you get what you deserve. You listened to the Pied Pipers and you followed them up shits creek. Not my problem.

I understand reading is really difficult for you uneducated simpletons, but re-read what I wrote. After he wasn't getting credit for the vaccine, he told you MAGA cultists to get vaccinated a few times. Then, he stopped again.

It's adorable that the people who rail about how bad education is are the same ones claiming they know more about vaccines than people who study them for a living :story: PROTIP: When you A&H alt-right manlets hate on education, you're just reaffirming your simpleton status

2022 join dates are even more retarded than 2021 ones. So when did you get banned from /pol/? I mean you gotta really be a shitty person to get banned from there.

Good luck, dude.
At least ask them about how long you should take a break from strenuous exercise after getting the shot and double whatever length of time they tell you once you get it.

I respect your choice to get it. I probably still won't get the vaccine the idea of vaccine mandates and etc... Is a shitty idea. Lockdowns are essentially quarantining the sick and non sick for unrealistic amounts of time.

You live in a country where the government and business essentially bribed the masses while shutting down all other small businesses. Look at new Zealand most of the central business districts in places like Auckland and Christchurch haven't recovered.

I get you probably live in Australia a country which can subsidize a very anglo welfare state with exports. But for other people they didn't have that luxury. I wore a mask but I took it off after the train people left. No one likes the policy and I can remember

Again this is the type of hysteria I had to deal with. Because you lived in a based area and got the jab doesn't mean that histrionic cunts in your area didn't try to make you feel bad for not getting the coof jab.

(Remember none of my pictures are the result of schizos saying it's 5G, magnetic, DNA altering nanobot technology and the mark of the beast. They're almost all lies or people trying to Shane others for not falling in line.)
