Sadly no, Covid was intenally unleashed in part to get rid of Trump and to be in place as a smokescreen while the world gov'ts implement The Great Reset. Justin Trudeau literally admitted on video that his gov't will implement Agenda 230 aka The Great Reset. Just google (or better yet duckduckgo because fuck them), also look up UN Agenda 21. I pray I am wrong but things are grim here in Canada, lockdowns getting worse, churchs being shutdown, people protesting the lockdowns being fined/arrested, gov't really pushing fear and getting the vaccines, it all stinks of facism to me.

Obviously Trump can't be blamed for the virus itself. And he can't even be blamed for most of the measures used to fight it. That shit is mostly state level so if you're unhappy about lockdowns and other similar bullshit, you should really look to your state leaders. The absolute worst of the lot was Cuomo in New York, a pure blue state, who not only all but murdered a bunch of old people by forcing COVID infested oldsters into homes, but also did absolutely unconstitutional shit like saying some businesses could stay open, but churches specifically couldn't.

And that specifically was found to be unconstitutional by the Supreme Court.

That aside, while Trump can't be blamed for the virus or for most of the response to it, he continually stabbed his own side in the back and his nonstop bile-spewing about Fauci, who he could have fired, absolutely weakened his leadership position and much of the current antivax bullshit is just pure Trumpery in drag.

Between utter nonsense that was so unintelligible he sounded like he was saying people should inject bleach (which he did not actually say) and other mixed messages, he got his birther/retard/lunatic base so confused they don't know to this day what to do. So even though he actually, in reality, shepherded the development of the vaccine, he weirdly simultaneously ensured many of his followers would be deeply suspicious of it.

He should have been marketing it as the Trump vaccine. He'd probably still be President if he hadn't utterly Jimmy Cartered the one major issue of his Presidency.

On the one hand, it's cringey consumerism but everyone likes free stuff and if I was American I would take advantage of this. With the Target one you could buy snacks or some other small thing for 5.99 and then only pay 99 cents. Usually they have a minimum where you have to buy x amount before getting x amount off. I haven't seen anything like this here in Canada but you'd think Tim Horton's would try to copy Krispy Kreme and offer free donuts.

By churches being shut down are you referencing that one from Alberta that had to be forcibly shut down by the health department for defying COVID measures? Their preacher even went to jail for it. It looks like an evangelical whacko church to me. IMHO they were rightfully shut down. I believe everyone has a right to religious gatherings but sometimes public health has to supersede that.
