Just wanted to update you guys that tomorrow is my final second dose of the COVID vaccine and I’m not sure what to expect this time around. The first one I had made me have an almost bad allergic reaction [...] I started to somewhat get chills and a runny nose until a couple of days after the shot.

If it helps you and others feel better, my body didn't react to it any differently than it did to flu and hepatitis vaccines that I've gotten prior. The first dose led to soreness in the arm it was injected in and some minor fatigue that caused me to sleep three more hours than usual the next night which both passed the next morning. The second dose led to soreness in my arm, neck, shoulders, and waist, and major exhaustion (like I just ran a 5K race yesterday major) that had me bedridden for most of the next day. Try to get it on a day before your day off if you can't afford to call in sick for work just to be safe.
