I do not understand the resistance to getting the vaccine, you know I am not fucking ecstatic about getting it but its better than the alternative, in a perfect world I would rather not deal with either side of the coin. But I work with the public and want shit to normalize ASAP. I just find it weird how the people who were complaining about the lockdowns and downplaying the Chinese Lab Disease are now doing what the people concerned about the virus 8+ months ago were doing and think they are somehow right about it. It doesn't take a genius; data, scientific facts aside, just the geopolitical response to realize shit is and continues to be going down like its not a fucking joke. Like for instance Russia is making it mandatory for most public workers to get vaccinated. The Anti-Vax are slowing the reopening process now.

Personally I think the world's response to it did as much damage, in a different way, than the virus actually did. Not saying it isn't a problem but I gotta be honest, people do not like their regular lives being interrupted. It's fine to be skeptical and have doubt in things. And that's what I'm on the corner with when everyone is trying to sell certainty and blind faith in things.

In closing, I say do your research and come to your own conclusions on whether you want the vaccine or not. I can understand higher risk populations wanting it because one outweighs another, but people are concerned about the side effects and possible issues with people with certain medical conditions. Personally I'm tired of all the idiotic cringe musical propaganda videos and virtue signaling braggarts on social media (which I don't really use anyway but I digress).
