Are you gonna welcome people with 2025 join dates next year?

Solution
We do it like it should be done. We bitch about the 2025'ers, and then the 2025'ers bitch about the 2026'ers, and then the cycle keeps spinning.

The more recent join dates, and the content they provide, have made me consider digging out my pre-pandemic username/pw. I'm genuinely self-conscious about being lumped in with some of these people.

Working in IT in the 00's, we cracked jokes about "The Eternal September." It is truly depressing that it's not only still true, it's gotten worse and worse in every space and community.

As long as you let in anime freaks, furries, and tranny faggots you are going to have a lot of retarded conversations. Eventually Null is going to pass the site on and it will be as gay as Reddit. The more people, the more idiotic something becomes because most people are fucking idiots.

I still don't comprehend why Null decided it was a good idea to display the join dates below the profile. If I knew that I'd have made the effort to keep my old account

Probably to know at quick glance if they're probably accustomed to the "culture of the site" or not.

A 2013 account has a better chance of being non-disruptive than a 2024 one, and Null knowing if they're meme shitposting (harmless), or spam/retarded shitposting (unwanted).
