Do you see yourself as someone informed on current happenings and news? Do you know what's going on in the world and are you aware of the situation?

Midway through 2022 or so, I intentionally closed myself off from the news cycle as much as possible besides a small trickle pertaining directly to my local (geographical) community.
I feel it has significantly impacted my mood and productivity in a positive manner.
Therefore, I can say with some certainty that I am not at all informed, have no idea what's going on, am unaware of the situation and boy, it sure is nice.

I entirely stopped following local news after the ukrowar started and since then I've only been following ameriburger clownworld news (whatever I read here on KF basically) because it's entertaining. I actively resent criminal news, way too often it crosses the line from news to informative murder porn.

Most kike'ish bullshit ever, being "informed" and "news" should not be associated with each other.

No, I can't change the world, so why fill my brain with someone elses problems? I don't follow any news networks, only checking local ones from time to time for road maintenance and weather. Otherwise I let the news hampster on MATI giving me what's important.

I am quite happy to ignore everything that happens off this island and honestly I have even stopped caring much about what happens outside of Wales anymore, only local events truly matter to me.

I can't verify the accuracy of things happening on the other side of the world, I can't change them, and thus I cease to care.

I don't really follow war news but the reason for that is because a lot of the current info is propaganda from all sides and we will have to wait until this shit is over for the real info to surface.
Outside of it, I am addicted to information and it often makes human interaction difficult.
Sometimes online, I will met people more informed than me on topics but IRL, it hasn't happened in many years.
It's frustrating trying to talk about something with someone when that person clearly doesn't know much and that's pretty much everyone.

Sometimes, I wish I was ignorant but that's not good long term.

There is a thing to be said about being misinformed. There is to say, if you learn wrong information about an event, you effectively know less than zero.
So abandoning mainstream media keeps you from having negative knowledge, I'd say.
