My go-to reaction is let whatever happens, happen on profile pages, but I do keep any eye out for clever bullying or stalking in the case of some master baiter trying to get someone to break rules with manipulation.

You can usually skim someone's profile and based on the activity/kind of comments people get, read the temperature of the room and see how they're perceived at large by the community. I like that it happens naturally, and it has an IQ check built-in for people to recognize the contextual clues of how they're interacting with one another. Any attempts to hide shameful comments is usually the red flag of a narcissist and/or the thin-skinned, who naturally don't fit in. Their profile pages often look how you'd expect and when reporting fails, they often slink away and never come back.

The above is largely WolfeTone-unrelated, I also recommended he not interact with the trolls and a-logs but generally couldn't help himself. He was not a pest with reports but occasionally rule-checked some instances were people chased his recent activity and some of it really skirted the line of reasonable behavior.
