I think you can tell if a person is a tool or not by whether they would priase the "Spider-Verse" movies. Some of us can remember when Spider-Man wasn't woke zooomer bullshit. These are people who go with trends and agree with things that demean the source material just becuase it's popular and they want to suck up to other people in their social group. A similar example would be Mad Max: Fury Road, where the movie fired Mel Gibson and has strong 2nd wave feminist overtones but dumb neckbeards praised it because they are stupid and think something should be praised just becuase the action scenes are good.
