Jamie’s son is a big fan of the grumps and she more or less went on to meet the guys and let her son meet up with them. He actually works with the Beard Bros and he seems like a pretty chill guy. And I think Grant went on because he was a fan of Jon.
As for the others, no clue. Maybe to promote their work or something? It’s really not clear.

Jamie Lee Curtis went on, like many have said, because her son is into gaming and is probably a fan of the Grumps. It’s possible she did it so she could do something nice for her despite having to act like she doesn’t hate being around a blabbering manbaby for a good chunk of the day.
I’m guessing Weird Al and NSP have done some work together in the past and that had given Arin a good connection to him through Dan to put Al in an episode.
Finn Wolfhard (not mentioned her but still a celebrity that’s been on the Grumps) is a fan of that LP circle (GG, SM and Oney) and was probably ecstatic to be on the same show he used to watch before he got big. He was on some SuperMega stuff and a podcast with psychicpebbles too outside of the NSP music video and some Power Hour episodes.

PsychicPebbles, huh? I know it isn't related to Arin, but ol' Zack was involved with a tweet by the man himself; Justin Roiland. Specifically one that involved a naked Barron Trump. Shit has been taken down ever since, but if you looked at his twitter, eventually you'd find some replies to his tweets mentioning as much. Unless I'm wrong; wasn't Finn a minor? If that podcast stuff was sometime between the game grumps episodes he appeared in, then that's worrying. If I figured out that the person I was in a podcast with was involved in that sorta stuff, I'd bail.
