Let me add to the list of things arin doesn’t know how to do.
“Wear... a... suit.”
Okay done.

I swear, that's the only suit he owns. You'd think with as much money as he has, he could afford a classy one that is properly fitted.

I haven’t kept up with much of the news, so this may be a dumb question, but what’s the general consensus on Danny? From what I’ve seen, Arin is a straight up tard and Danny just kind of goes along with stuff but is otherwise a nice enough guy. I may be completely off the mark though.

Pretty much the colors and the GG logo on the packaging and the glasses. Strange choice for merch, frankly.

Am I the only one who feels like this pink looks like icing for a tart?

Currently the prevailing opinion is that Dan is a fake-ass bitch who pretends to be the most chill, nice dude on the planet.

Ok then.
Why?
I'm also curious. From what I've seen, including on here, the general consensus is that Dan is settled and sedentary - he could be better, but he's gotten too comfortable/lazy and uninvested in the show. Depending on your take, he's either staying there because he knows that leaving when he's totally the more liked of the grumps will be a death knell for the channel and feels indebted to Arin, or he just wants the relatively stable wages of the grumps rather than going risky with bands again.

There's definitely claims of him lying on some of his Dan Stories, though i'm out of date with which ones and why. I think the b'okay one was one?

Maybe. I haven’t watched any Grumps in years, but I do remember that I liked Dan the most out of them. He just came off as more chill and I liked his stories. Everything just got so stale though. It looked like it became a job for everyone involved, not just a successful fun side project.
I guess that’s how things work when having fun is your job. It stops being fun and just becomes more work. You see it all the time with Youtubers, very few know when to let something die.

Dan's fine. He's just riding this train until he can retire in the middle of nowhere with his young girlfriend.

Honestly, if that’s the case, good on him. I think leaving is one of the best things an Internet personality can do once things run dry.
If he’ll be happier making his music and off of Game Grumps, then Godspeed.

Ok then.

Well, there was that 'Sorry the truth has upset you' comment he made in response to a random critic who called him out for repeating Arin 'algoritm' rhetoric when it came to whether they'd keep Twilight Princess an episodic playthrough instead of moving it to streams; that dismissive response didn't exactly do him any favors (first time I can recall Dan ever getting downvoted on reddit); in which he ended up deleting that dismissive comment, only to post a humble brag post later thanking all the Lovelies for checking in on him after the whole ordeal.

Then, months after the fact, he deleted his reddit account with no explanation as to why.

New "The Grumps" video, which amounts to a shitton of humble bragging about how totally not famous they really are, guys. No timestamps by NotBlarg this time, sadly, but it seems like this video was a bit more focused on a couple of topics this time around. So I'll just give the gist of it real quick.

They both discuss how, due to Minecraft gaining a resurgence of sorts on YouTube, they might consider playing it on the main channel at some point in order to gain traction (even though the entire comment section would rather that be reserved for streams). Fair enough, their views had steadily been declining as of late...but then they use that time to talk about how they don't ever wanna be famous, while also bragging about all the stuff they've done.

The video essentially boils down to them talking about wanting fame and fortune - while owning said fortunes - but not wanting to deal with the ravenous hordes of fans. Even though NSP and GG are now signed up with talent agencies in the industry.

...Also they're still in Brent's house.

EDIT: NotBlarg came through for us.

Sincerely would not be at all shocked if an office actually does not exist and they're building a place from scratch (would explain why they need the proper permits before they can move into a place they supposedly own outright).

And if a building does exist and the permits are for renovation purposes, that would make for an entertaining 10MPH /The Grumps ep - show the fans the new place before all the renovations are completed, so they can get an idea just how much money Arin blows on needless cosmetic flare.

have family currently renovating a building for a company they are opening a business in, and despite not having trouble getting the right permits to do all of the renovations, they are greatly behind schedule because contractors are as reliable as mystery leftovers that look a bit grey.

Had to dig for it; but NotBlarg came through like a champ. :)

They don't play minecraft because to make a good minecraft video you have to be able to shoot the shit and be interesting with not much happening on the screen to help you out.

I'm among the 'stopped watching after jon left' crowd but when I saw that video of what I guess is their current office I thought it was insane looking. Like holy shit they can burn that much money just from let's plays?
