you're very observant, congrats. i came here because of onision and frankly it's the only forum i want to take part in. i came here because i was curious. you're closer with "dumb tweens first venture onto the farms". it makes me feel like i make a difference to post about him instead of just sit and watch him ruin lives. i'm sure you're not so different. moving on,

I haven't got a chance to play the remake but it probably has the same problems as all the side content that came out after FF7. The original game had it's serious moments but large chunks of the game were honestly pretty silly and the game overall didn't take itself too seriously (there's a whole segment where the main character cross dresses and can get gangbanged by sweaty wrestler dudes, for example). However generally speaking a lot of fans of the game romanticize the more serious elements of the story especially the Vincent/Sephiroth stuff, which has lead to all subsequent content related to FF7 (including the remake) lean more towards that kind of thing instead of embracing how goofy and weird the original was.
 
The original FF7 was made by Squaresoft. The people working there were much better at storytelling and writing in general. SquareEnix made the remake and they are not as good at those aspects. They're usually too busy cramming in as much busywork as they can into their games. It also doesn't help that FF7 was supposed to be a stand alone story like all the FF games, so it's always awkward when SquareEnix keeps shoving in new characters and plot points that were never meant to be there. Another thing is that this isn't even a remake. It's actually a sequel. I'm not sure how much this matters to most fans, because as long as the graphics are good and there are big flashy moments that seems to satisfy most people.

It kind of reminds me of Arin in a way. He's an animator so he can take care of the visuals, but not so much jokes and dialogue.

Do you guys reckon that if, for whatever reason, Dan leaves GG for a while Arin would do it with Suzy/Ben or would he animate again? I think he'd keep GG going until everyone stops watching due to Arin's stubborn yet lazy nature. As said before, he has barely animated anything recently (and even that he had help with). He just seems stuck in his ways.

If you truely wanted to make a difference, you wouldn't use Kiwi Farms as it is very inefficient. This site is only really for discussion and documentation, so talking bad about onion boy is just preaching to the choir. Unless you've got new information then you aren't really stopping him from ruinning lives.
The mindset you have kinda really pissess me off because it feels like you care more about feeling good rather than doing good. That's why you questioned the reason why people talked about arin, instead of other "dipshits".
