It's just fanart inspired by the game. Copyright law when it comes to cartoon characters is weirdly precise. If it was a direct beat-for-beat trace of existing characters and/or copying logos without the copyright holder's consent, GG and whoever drew this would be in trouble. But it looks like it's only lifting the artstyle and copyright law doesn't really cover cartoon artstyles. (That's why the 80s and 90s were plagued with Disney lookalikes. If the law DID cover artstyles, no project lead artist would ever work anywhere again!) I could see why you'd think that, the 3D look on a 2D plane is pretty close to how the game looks.
