Does anybody else find super long videos like this to be way less credible just due to their length alone?
Like, how is someone supposed to respond to something this long? If it's too short cause you only answered key points then people will call you dishonest for the things you left out and if it's too long because you want to answer everything, you'll come off as unhinged and obsessive for making an even longer video.
Kinda just seems like a cheap tactic for creating an unwinnable situation to me.
I was gonna say, Matt’s video being like 40 mins while Ryan’s is less than 10 mins makes me think Ryan’s morals are better, despite being the one who cheated on his gf.

Ryan just didn't talk about as much stuff. It might be because Matt decided to cover the majority of the Leighton stuff instead of having both of them repeating the same stuff. Outside of the Lex stuff he talked about the accusations levied against just him as well as the suicide comments because he seemed to be the most offended by that.

I feel kinda bad for Ryan for falling for the power dynamic bullshit. It does exist in employer/employee relationships as well as a few other dynamics, but not in the celeb and fan one. Ryan holds no power over these women. They just think he does because they want his approval. The power exists in their minds only.

The power dynamic only exists when they have something to gain from it which is, in this case, clout during a cancelation. These women didn't bother mentioning it before this for a reason. None of them cared until there were internet bloodsports to be had.

I say this every time something like this is brought up but unless the content creator is offering these women a place on their show,/publicity/free merch/etc or threatening they'd drag them to their fans if they refuse then there is no power dynamic because there's nothing to lose or gain. It's just a buzzword now to cancel someone who hurt their feelings.

Good lord, this SuperMega drama is so retarded - if you take it seriously. If not, then it's kinda funny. But when I think about it, also a little bit sad because serious shit like SA and suicide gets muddled by complete non-issues like misgendering, stupid frat jokes, and private issues that shouldn't be broadcasted if everyone involved was a responsible and well-adjusted adult. But instead, all private matters are aired into the open like an internet zoo. It's like you're a relative at a family get-together where everyone hates each other and you have to sit and watch them argue about deeply private matters.

Yeah, cheating is shitty but why is this broadcasted all across the internet? Fucking fans is a bad idea in this day and age but why is it being treated like a crime when they are adults and no extortion takes place?

At the risk of sounding MATI, I am admittingly lowkey uncomfortable with how transparent this whole thing is. But naturally, I wouldn't be here if I didn't find it fascinating.

Even the SA and suicide stuff is kinda nothing. The SA stuff was as resolved as it could possibly be without involving the cops and legal system. Matt and Ryan didn't SA anyone but they were thrust into a position where they had to play judge, jury and executioner in a SA situation and it was messy. The suicide stuff just seems to be people struggling to cope with their close friend killing himself. When you boil it down Matt and Ryan are getting cancelled for, at worst, being kinda incompetent and dickish.

"Without involving the police"
But broadcasted across the internet.....

I may not like Matt and Ryan but that sounds like a really fucked situation to get shoved into. I however fault everyone involved for not involving the police

When explained like that, the suicide thing is really heartbreaking. Kinda sounds like "We cancel you because you don't cope the way we want you to cope" which is sociopathic.

Everything else is just primo bullshit that muddles the water between actual issues that weren't even caused by Matt and Ryan evidently

So did the German guy actually assault her? Fukken no. She's an e-thot that bounces from dude to dude (couch to couch) that got slightly upset because a coomer-brained sperger treated her like the piece of meat she "pretends" to be online. He just got rough. As consenting adults that shit happens, but she was looking for any reason to make her losing a place to stay for free a bigger issue other than she was just being a free loader. The supersmegma dudes always seemed disingenuous, even back when they hung around with Oney, but all they did in this situation was make dumb choices. Seriously, they should have just called the cops and reported what had been tossed up to them by their EMPLOYEES. A cop would have shown up and the dumb whore would either have made a statement and let the legal system deal with it or kept her mouthshut and then DONE. End of story. The fuck is with chick's saying they were assaulted publicly but shy away from the idea of calling the police?

Sorry for the sausage log of a post, this whole thing has just been so gay and I don't understand what's wrong with these LA faggots.

I believe you answered your own question.
And thats mostly the problem. These guys bought into the LA mentality so hard, and surrounded themselves with these people willingly. This all would be largely ignored if they had not catered to such a hypersensitive fan base.

However, because they did, and they pretended to be paragons of California virtue, they're now getting roasted and I find it hard to be sorry for them. These creators do this to themselves.

Took a peak into the SuperMega subreddit now that the response videos have been posted and it seems like the tide has turned. A lot of people saying the initial response was an overreaction. A lot of people saying "fuck Leighton" as well as Morgpie and even people questioning Lex's motives.

If it helps, Twitter is like 50/50.

Twitter is also probably full of non-fans who love a good canceling dog-pile.
Something something believe all women and not Le evil cishet white men.

Little reminder that they were very dissatisfied with the Amber Heard court case conclusion.
Leighton is allegedly hollering BPD to explain his callout video.
I suppose it would explain the insanity of this shit show. Let's see how many people buy into it because muh mentals is totally a valid excuse to act like a disingenuous lil cunt.

I didn't want to propogate this drama but the ho went on the livestream of this guy called peethan or Ethanisonline whos a breadtube wannabe, probably deserves a thread but I'm too lazy. There she was quite happy watching the cancellation event as both of them were giggling and smoking pot with a supermega sub counter at the corner of the screen. Pretty revealing what the intentions were. Sorry I can't attach screenshots, gay phoneposting.
