This is the generational divide I just really don't get. I'm sure my parents would have had reservations about me giving their money to people for nothing significant in return when I was growing up, but I guess we're at a point where kids funding the lifestyles of people who're almost definitely wealthier than them is normal now.
It's a generation of coomers. But I think it's a minority of people, hopefully.
Its the vocal minority of whales, same thing with Twitch and gambling. Its all supported by less than a percent minority who drop absurd amounts of cash on stupid shit for pretty much nothing but dopamine hits because of some form of mental illness.
I'm pretty sure most of those patrons are middle aged women and assorted alphabet people. Just look at their subreddit to see the creepy diehards who worship them.
Unless there's some new info the 'Dan is a Groomer' thing went nowhere and there was no concrete proof of it. He's just happy to dip his wick in any fangirl of age without a second thought, or was anyway. I think he's still in a long term with the same woman.

Well he did more than pump and dump them. He was treating them like his girlfriend before then, when really he was just using them for sex. He didn't break up with them or anything either, he just started ghosting them. It would honestly be more respectable if he was just giving them groupie treatment. He's had his current girlfriend for, I think, two years now so I'm guessing those days are over (unless they've broken up and I just don't know it yet).
Grooming kinda carries the connotation of "Fucked a kid", which he didn't do as far as the evidence showed. I was also under the impression the "Oh yeah I love you" act didn't start until she was legal, and everything prior was basic bullshit. Guess I should lurk a bit more, but either way keeping the line between him being an ass hole and him needing to be fed to the woodchipper clear should be important so if he does cross it he can't hide behind a history of people crying wolf.
Unless I'm mistaken, everyone pretty much agreed that what he did wasn't nonce shit but still pretty scummy behaviour and were content just seeing how this affected Arin and everyone's perspective on him
