WTF did I do that was scummy?
I feel like this should go without saying, but it seems pretty suspect to offer to sell a very hard to acquire item for under market value. Especially with a console, when your reasoning is you bought too many. Consoles generally aren't a thing you purchase multiple copies off unless you intend to scalp them. Which, yeah, makes sense, you can make good money selling it for hundreds more. But, you're offering to sell it at a loss. That heavily implies there is something wrong with the product, like it being defective or stolen. Or I guess in this case, that you're chasing some kind of e-clout.

I guess if you want to go one step further, it's even worse to purchase multiples of a hard to get item for seemingly no reason, since it just takes it away from people who do want it. At least scalpers are doing it to make a profit. I don't know if I'd go so far as to say it's scummy, but it's definitely shady, and I don't think you should be surprised that nobody is taking you up on the offer.

My running theory is that his "business" was selling the first two for a big profit then selling the last 2 at a minor loss for a net profit and if people claim he's scalping he points to the last 2 he sold for less as a sort of defense.

Holy shit, what a dumbass.

My running theory is he's a retard.

This just makes me think of the attention-whoring shit on RantGrumps. Right now there's a guy just using their six-year-old Sonic Adventure LP as an excuse to plug his own videos.

...but it's okay, because he's a Game Grumps TIHYDP contributor, so attention-whoring is justified.

So far this is the second TIHYDP GG edition tard I've heard of that can't keep his spaghetti in check. Have there been any others that I've never noticed/known of? They literally just have to show his shitty gameplay and little edits like comments and such, that's it.

So some guy called Apetor died recently, apparently he was an ice fisher that fell into an icy river. For some reason Arin thought this fucking surreal video of him staring at the camera and sipping on a beer without saying anything was the perfect tribute for him.

Like I get it "I take a sip for you" and stuff, but man he should have at least said something in the video to make it less creepy. It kinda looks like he's making fun of him to me

EDIT: I'm fucking dying here because I forgot about the part where does a big fucking burpy exhale right after sipping out that bottle

I just noticed he has a forehead bigger than James Rolfe now. Just shave it off lol.

The SuperMega Boys, previous editors for Game Grumps for those who don't know, have just released their first book on December 7th.
bandicam 2021-12-09 09-14-35-522.jpg

Now you would think that being previous employees for Game Grumps, that they would possibly receive the "Grump Bump", retweets, comments, a mention, etc. The very basics of, this is a cool thing my friends made, maybe check it out. However, at the time of writing this, SuperMega has received nothing from the Grumps. Now I will give Grumps the benefit of the doubt here and maybe SuperMega didn't want this to happen and asked for this just be advertised by them alone, or some other possibility.

But that same day, on the Game Grumps Instagram, the Grumps advertised their own book again.
bandicam 2021-12-09 09-15-13-518.jpg

And the very next day, preorders opened up for the sequel, which according to Amazon, won't be released until June 7th 2022.
bandicam 2021-12-09 09-16-22-608.jpg

Was this done intentionally or not? Who knows. Should Game Grumps have pushed the preorder date of their new book back a bit to not take sales from SuperMega, or was it possible that they both wanted to release their books before Christmas and it just so happened be within 24 hours of each other?

Scummy move the Grumps part, or just a simple coincidence? You tell me.

According to the Grumps, it looks like Lovelies are back at it again. Danganropa 2 is said to have been "the most requested Game Grumps game of all time" (by who, I'm not quite sure), and it seems that any video that isn't Danganropa is being disliked bombed. This caused the Grumps to make a statement about how disliking bombing them is bad for everyone, but actually really just them because of the almighty algorithm.
bandicam 2021-12-12 10-22-42-647.jpg

Now this isn't anything new. The Lovelies have been known to do stuff like this in the past. The most notable was when Jiggle Grumps interrupted Doki Doki Literature Club a few years back and Arin had to make a statement about it.

But after doing a little digging, it seems what the Grumps are saying is untrue. So I'm going to do something a little unprecedented here and actually defend the Lovelies.

Unfortunately, YouTube took away the ability to see the actual dislikes, but I was able to find some percentages for a couple videos on Social Blade. (If anyone can somehow get the actual numbers and either prove me wrong or back up me up, that would be much appreciated.)
bandicam 2021-12-12 10-23-11-228.jpg

RATING% is what we're looking at, and luckily it's colour coordinated, so as you can see by the green, there is in fact a couple videos that did get a little more dislikes. And by a couple videos, I mean a total of three. I did some quick calculations with the lowest percentage, the 94.2%, (I'm not writing the title as I have at least a little dignity) and with a total of 9.4K likes on the video, you get about 650ish dislikes. It's definitely a little higher than normal, but with 94.2% being the worst one, 9.4K likes to 650 dislikes is not something I would call "Dislike Bombing".

However, if you look back at the numbers, there are plenty of other non Daganronpa videos that aren't affected by this so called "Dislike Bombing". It's only those three videos. So do those three videos have some sort of common factor? Yes. Two in fact. 1. They are all Roblox videos. And 2. They guest star a person I never heard of named Flamingo.

So instead of the Lovelies "Dislike Bombing" every video that isn't Daganronpa, what is actually happening is that the Lovelies didn't like the Roblox series, didn't like Flamingo, or both. Then instead of the Grumps admitting that either the series or guest just isn't working out, instead decided to blame their community. Good job guys.

If you want my theory, it's probably Flamingo, as the Grumps also released this statement saying "Be lovely to our guests! OR ELSE" a few days prior, meaning that the Lovelies were probably giving him at least a little shit. (He did a couple of other videos with the Grumps, so if anyone can get the dislikes there to prove or disprove this that would be great).

Always remember, it's not the Grumps fault for putting out bad content or having bad guests, it's yours for not liking it.

OK, you know you're in trouble when you have to pull out the same line of reasoning that the SJWs used for Fembusters 2016 and the Star Wars Sequel Trilogy.

Edit: Relevant Mister Metokur clip from his video on WingsofRedemption:

There's a Chrome and Firefox plugin that shows you the dislikes.

I looked into this very simply by putting on the videos with the browser extension that lets you see the dislike count and they were around 530 dislikes out of 9k+ dislikes. So yeah they're totally full of shit here lol. I feel like they just anticipated being dislike-bombed solely because of what lovelies did that one year, which is completely understandable to me but still not cool to talk down to your fanbase over something they haven't even done yet. I'm wondering who this surprise guest could be.
A) Someone the lovelies have never heard of/hate
B) A Storytime animator they can continue to leech e-fame out of
C) A real celebrity that's only on there to impress their children and have literally zero comedic chemistry with the grumps

If it's JonTron I would actually shit myself

The safest guess is Supermega, it sounds lame enough for us but probably enough to excite the lovelies

Just some small updates from /r/rantgrumps

Arin might have covid, he is still going into work and sitting in a seperate room while recording.

Arin is supposedly becoming quite the drinker. The ex straight edge was drinking during the Christmas episodes, and Dan has mentioned Arin drinking before other recordings. I guess he also admitted being drunk in several episodes, including sponsored ones.
From the jingle grumps episode
Dan - "are you literally drinking alcohol straight from the bottle while we're recording?"
Arin - "No I'm grabbing a cup!"
