$10K on alcohol... Can't say I'm surprised Jackson couldn't come up with a better excuse, man's brain is cooked.

His streaming set helps us get a better picture of how much liquor he owns. I only drink the cheap shit so I don't recognize any of those bottles, but there are at least 30 bottles in frame. When making his "Drink it up" cocktail videos he would always use bottles that cost around $30-40 per so I would not be surprised if he had over a grand in alcohol sitting behind him.

Steely Dan sweatpants? I can't hate the guy.

Edit: I believe these are the sweatpants in question.

A little gaudy for my tastes. Sounds like he was living like a Showbiz Kid.

How the fuck do you spend $10k in alcohol? I don't drink much, but even if you got one bottle of everything in a liquor store, you'd still come short of that

Yeah that's what immediately stood out to me about this. According to their own documentation:
1. They discovered he used the company card for a shitload of non-company purchases.
2. They asked him about it and he admitted that yes, the purchases happened on the company card, and that he mistakenly used it for personal purchases.
3. ???
4. They cut ties with the dude.
5. They're suing him for embezzlement.

What the fuck happened at step 3? Ostensibly it wasn't him saying "Yeah my bad guys, this was my fuckup and I'll pay you back the money I owe" since that doesn't typically involve starting a long and arduous court process.
It should actually be
1. They discovered he used the company card for a shitload of non-company purchases. (Most likely towards the end of January 2022)
2. They asked him about it and he admitted that yes, the purchases happened on the company card, and that he mistakenly used it for personal purchases. (February 1st, 2022)
3. They meet with him in person three days later, he repeats the same excuses and they fire him. (February 4th, 2022)
4. ???
5. They sue him for embezzlement (March 28th, 2022).

My best guess is that the two months were spent meeting with lawyers and preparing the lawsuit against him after it became clear he wasn't going to pay them back

May 14th. Theres a bunch of fights. Most of which I havent heard of but I must admit Michael Reeves in a boxing ring is the funniest thing ever as well as Matt Watson.
I'll be honest, I expect half of these nerds not to show up. I don't think Arin will actually get in the ring to get his head knocked off.

I thought Jackson was the aussie on the The Official Podcast not this fucking random

Call me schizo, I can't believe this is not an elaborate bit after reading : "[...]to achieve 'childhood dream' of visiting Koalas[...]"

Mixed drinks are expensive at bars, especially the hipster California ones. You could probably easily drop a hundred a night there.

Also from the sounds of it you probably haven’t been in a real full-line liquor store.

So, Matt and Ryan confronted him after he spent $61k over the course of three years? My guesses are:

1) They were in denial that their friend would do this and they finally confronted him.

2) They are dumbass business owners that don’t check the financial health of their company. Or at least hire someone to do so.

Why wouldn’t you check the monthly credit card of that business card? Do they not have budget and ensure monthly spending stays within the budget? They could’ve saw those unauthorized purchases sooner and saved themselves 61k.

Hundreds of dollars at the tiki bar

He looks like a soy cuck version of Hunter S. Thompson in that picture.

Most lawyers are barely technically literature enough to get their PDFs printed and then faxed to the court clerk

The impression that I've gotten from lawyers like LanDUI is that many of them blow through more than $10,000 in alcohol in the same period of time. Sometimes I think they're barely sober enough to function at all.

I don't know if the whole 28 page document was posted but here it is; includes an itemized list of all the expenses.

I graphed the data from that document (excluding the last month since they basically caught him right at the start of it) and added in a simple trend line. It seems like he started off small enough that it probably wasn't too hard to pass off as legitimate business expenses, but it looks like a habit developed in a hurry and was growing to the point where it would be difficult not to notice.

I'm most curious about January 2021. If there was some kind of new year's resolution it sure as hell didn't last for very long.

Maybe I'm exceptional, but I don't understand how you could easily confuse a credit card from your employer with one from your dad and then also not realize you've spent all of that money on said business card.

I think at some point, usage of that card stopped being "accidental", and more "how long can I keep this up before somebody says anything?". Jackson probably decided he had gone down that route far enough that it was just easier to keep going.

Based on the full itemized list, Jackson had Matt and Ryan funding his life for the past 2-3 years. That man had his recurring Apple payments on that card. He even did his grocery shopping on their dime. :story:

Supermega's joking style is to make very serious content funny by playing it straight. They follow through on jokes through editing and acting well.
They had a running joke on their mail videos and elsewhere of Jackson commiting various crimes, disappearing, or other sketchy behaviors.

They recently had a podcast with Icuckz and his leech where they whine about Markiplier being succesful and normal and there is no way it could be one of their jokes. This lawsuit isn't either.

The Icuck is a plague that is creeping into all the tubers. Godspeed Sam Hyde, save EpicMealTime for us.

On the one hand, I think Matt and Ryan obnoxious idiots riding on the coat tails of other idiots. On the other hand, I hate thieves.

I shall remain neutral. Dumb fucks get dumb fucked.
