Gonna be honest, I'm a retard.

I'm mainly here because I remember Egoraptor from years ago and this kept popping up and is featured. He was a retard from what I saw but I never saw him again after Jon left GG.

But so far in the thread I haven't seen anything to do with Ego Raptor apart from he guest starred on this show?

Please someone explain how this is all connected to Egoraptor?

Thank you, love you.

Edit: I have now been updated. Thanks.

I haven't seen it mentioned yet but I started going through individual dates near the end. It's mentioned in the Instagram evidence in the court docs that they received their statements for the month on the first or second Tuesday of the following month, which creates a very telling timeline near the end.

Jackson seemed to spend pretty regularly and with abandon basically up until the end of 2021. In October he spent $6,912. Which was so egregious it's when, I'm assuming, Matt and Ryan finally figured out what was going on.

I'm assuming they probably had some kind of conversation with Jackson about it, around the start of November and he basically blew them off. And tried to spend closer to what he had previously been spending, thinking they wouldn't notice. He spent $2,137 in November.

December is where it gets interesting.

He continued to spend how he normally did, up until December 7th, when Matt and Ryan got November's bill and realized he hadn't stopped his personal spending. And then he miraculously stops spending up until the 24th. I'm assuming Supermega probably either took his card or blocked it to physically prevent him from spending anymore. On the 24th he somehow then managed to get his card back, I have no idea how though, considering they should have known he wasn't going to stop himself from spending thier money. He has a couple of purchases that I'm assuming he managed to pass off as business expenses. They're all small enough purchases and are from places that don't immediately raise any red flags

And then January. I'm assuming at this point their relationship had soured and Jackson was ready to burn this bridge, because in January his spending ramped up.

He spent what basically amounts to a fuck you amount of Supermega's money in January. $7,308 dollars to be exact.

Jackson effectively made multiple daily purchases, with his daily spending easily surpassing several hundred dollars. And then February,

He only managed to get to spend one single day, presumably because Supermega would have gotten their bill from January on Tuesday February 1st. At which point I'm assuming they immediately blocked his card, before promptly firing him 3 days later on the 4th.

If I had to guess, based on his pattern of spending in January, and the one day in February he had access to the card, he would have continued to spend upwards of $200 a day until Matt and Ryan finally took his card away.

Ex Game Grumps editors splinter off and create their own business with associates.
Ahhh. Weird it just wasn't put up as a separate news article then, seems pretty unrelated.

Still a funny wee story. I just kept looking at it going "where's the Egoraptor connection?" Was waiting for a bombshell.

Thanks.

a letsplay channel that was kind of funny for about a year then got really lazy and unfunny, huh kind of like gamegrumps?
Yeah, but no one actually cares about that since people keep subscribing to Jon and his videos get millions of views almost immediately, whereas Game Grumps has plateaued since 2016.

Espically the last two years. Dan might as well be on life support. Apparently getting married means you cant seduce a video game character.

40 is a bit to old to be pretending that "sexbang" is a stage name you can live up to while you doze off during lets plays Avadan.

Look at tom boyden and juji. Friends went into business together, and one friend ended up stealing 500k.
This is exactly what I thought of too. Dont mix business and friends unless they can be trusted.

How the hell do you not notice this shit for 2 years. Did they never look at the money. Did they ever see all these random ass food bills. They ether knew the whole time and didn't give a shit till now or deserve to be robbed from how dumb they are

It comes down to a lot of Arin's friends and current/past business associates all being retards, but not being retarded enough for their own thread, but still worth laughing at in-between Arin shitting himself, Dan fucking fans, or Suzy scamming fans.

Embezzlement always sounds a lot smarter of a crime than reality plays out. I use to imagine someone faking receipts, shifting money from different accounts, making fictitious companies.

Nah, this is just some idiot not paying attention to what some other idiot was doing with the company credit card.

I know absolutely nothing about these people but they all look like immense faggots.

If this guy doesn't have anything better than "oops, wrong card xD" he's absolutely fucked. Assuming the $60k figure is only the purely personal expenses (cba to go through the list of purchases) he'd be on the hook for that. If $60k is the total spent on that card during the time he had it, the amount for which he would be liable would obviously only be 60k - genuine business expenses.

Unless he can produce a trump card in his response like a contract allowing him to use the card for personal expenses (very unlikely) or the amount he spent on personal expenses is significantly lower than $60k he should try to settle. If the plaintiffs have any sense they'll reduce the figure a bit to avoid the time and cost of a lawsuit.

Seeing as they let tens of thousands disappear from underneath them without noticing, I'd wager they're not exactly the brightest knife in the toolbox.

I graphed the data from that document (excluding the last month since they basically caught him right at the start of it) and added in a simple trend line. It seems like he started off small enough that it probably wasn't too hard to pass off as legitimate business expenses, but it looks like a habit developed in a hurry and was growing to the point where it would be difficult not to notice.

I'm most curious about January 2021. If there was some kind of new year's resolution it sure as hell didn't last for very long.
This looks like an addiction that developed with the onset of le coof. In July 2020 CA reintroduced measures to close lots of indoor businesses, including bars. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/COVID-19_pandemic_in_California) From there, he steadily developed an addiction to spending other people's money.

what does jontron have to do with it?
he was on their channel for... a year I think.

arin cried about his 'mean opinions' (despite being an actual racist psycho unlike jon who just had a wrongthink opinion).

jontron's channel now has more subscribers and more views than theirs. I think that about sums it ups. videos they posted 13 days ago, ~200k views. jontron video from 12 days ago - 3 million.

Most lawyers are barely technically literature enough to get their PDFs printed and then faxed to the court clerk
This one seems to just be tech literate enough to put shit into a Dropbox.
Dropbox doesn't have real access control either IIRC and the one used here looks to be for the entire office (going by the name).
Not something I would like my lawyer to do.

I've accidentally used my company card for an Uber or Grubhub when I forgot to switch cards in the apps after a business trip...Imagine trying to explain a Minion shirt, though.
Sure, and that's a somewhat common screwup (using the wrong card) ... once. If it's going to happen, it tends to be soon after someone who's never had a corporate card before gets his first one and it's rarely for more than a couple hundred bucks. And it's practically never an actual problem an employer will take action against you over, provided you own up to it as soon as you realize what happened and take action to make it right.

"Hey Cindy, I screwed up this weekend and grabbed my new corporate card instead of my personal one and charged a hundred bucks for dinner. Here's the receipt; can you just dock me for it on my next paycheck?" Rocket science it ain't. That's often part of the agreement you sign when you get a corporate card anyway. You grant them permission to deduct unauthorized charges from your paycheck or to claw back the money straight from your direct deposit account.

If you rack up five grand in unauthorized charges in a month "by accident," that's no accident. Really if it happens more than once you deserve greater scrutiny. He totally knew what he was doing, but shame on the company for not noticing it sooner. A competent finance department would have been on that like flies on shit the moment the first questionable charge came in.

The difference between GG SuperMega and Oneyplays is Chris and his group don’t try to pretend to be something they’re not. Chris, Zach, Lyle, Tomar all know they’re internet yards but they’re successful outside of all that. They also knew when to cut ties with the extra special breed of tard. Unlike Arin or SuperMega. Game grumps is a dead channel basically and SuperMega will follow suit.

Too bad Chris doesn't recognize a slut that has a taste for Irish dick. It took TWO meth-headed friends of his to tell everyone the truth.

Context: Chris's last gf cheated on him and went after another Irish content creator who's younger. I ain't got the 4chan posts but it's out in the open now.

I don't like comparing the two of them because the Super Mega and OneyPlays are businesses ran by manchildren who are stuck in high school. Remember that Chris, along with his entire group of friends, STILL stayed friends with that pedo minded Shadman.

SuperMega/Gamegrumps is a business. Oneyplays is a side project. The difference is the former treat lets plays as sooper srs business and the latter are making a video game/have a tv show on air/own a successful business (a real one, not lets players pretending to do business).
