Is he trying to start his own TV show after seething behind the scenes over the huge success of smiling friends and his former "co-worker/friend" propelling himself to grand new professional heights while he is stuck making poop jokes while badly playing video games?

Because that is the only reason I can see for him doing this.
The fact that it's called Happyland Incorporated is a little suspicious. I guess "Grinning Pals" was too on the nose.

I mean that's definitely more of a monkey's paw wish because, based on the thumbnail, it doesn't look he animated it at all.
He' probably trying out being one of those Youtube channels that simply hosts other people's work while taking all the credit

EDIT: I'm retarded. The credits are on the video description:
Did this nigger give himself 8 different voice roles

Who TF is that, and why did Arin choose them to animate thi -

Oh.

I'm sure Arin is mad he's too retarded and talentless and lacking the motivation to succeed like Smiling Friends guy did, getting onto HBO and all.

The real question is if this will be unrelated to or trying to mock/satirize Smiling Friends. I can't imagine trying to make fun of beloved animations is a great move even for someone who can't read the room like Arin.

Maybe the game grumps ship is sinking and he's trying a desperate 'look at me I can do it too' attempt?

Smallbu usually has solid animation.
The art in the thumbnail for Happyland Inc or whatever doesn't even look like their style.

Compare the above thumbnail to the one below.

The one above is smooth, clean, while the one below has that ugly early-2010s flash cartoon style nonsensical edge shading, inconsistent line thickness, fucked up anatomy (look at how short her forearm is compared to the rest of her arm), and how none of the lines look straight. It looks like it uses that auto smoothing thing flash brush strokes use.

It looks like a flash animation from 2010

To be fair, I think a lot of people have nostalgia for that chaotic and irreverent style of animation (myself included), so I can understand them trying to capture that. Especially since this appears to be a "hearkening back" type of thing. Not a lot of hope for it being any good though, considering Arin's descent into his current status as a humorless prick who makes content aimed at very small children.

That's gotta hurt
I think I've said it before but Super Mega are far worse than Game Grumps. at least Arin had charisma and talent and Dan or whoever is hosting with them now has their own style of humor even if its not that funny. Super Mega from the start were always clout chasers, cozying in with the Oney and Grump guys as soon as they emerged with their month old channel, had no newgrounds animation community or YouTube comedy channel history that brought them together and made them friends in the background, they just saw their views and were like "I want to do that, lets move to LA and try and get in contact with them".

They reeked of wannabes being in it for the money and clout and obviously it didn't work out because they have nothing unique to offer and are dull and unfunny.

The video is out now. It's based on "experiences working at a certain theme park" which I'm guessing is Disneyland.

Arin's new animation video was really... not good.

It's so quick and rapid fire with what I assume are attempts at jokes, that by the time you have time to process what just happened, two more just went by. The end result of this is an unmemorable mess. I literally just watched and can not tell you a single line of dialog from it.

It's the same problem that the show Good Game had, someone is constantly talking. There's no silence. In a minute animation, this is fine, but in a 10 minute video, in the pilot no less, something that's supposed to set up characters and the overall plot of the story, give me a literal second to understand what is happening.
