This felt like a first draft. It's an good premise, there's just no direction. The only goal is to get through the work day, so the episode was essentially just running out the clock.

I don't think Arin remembers what it's like to work at a theme park like that. Everyone has to act cookie cutter positive and helpful in front of guests and managers. You can literally get written up and fired if they catch you not smiling often enough. The closest he came to showing that was when the black chick took over the speaker on the bus. A good set up would be if the new guy is just a genuinely nice, happy person. He starts work and everyone is happy and nice, too. Then the guests leave, or the workbell rings and everyone instantly drops the act and the new guy is just shocked that no one actually likes working there.

It writes itself if you do it like that. The comedy comes from flipping the switch when the workers are on the job. The conflict during work is hiding the abuse from guests and trying to maintain an image when the chaos gets too wild. The main character would be in a position to bring genuine positivity to the place or get completely disillusioned. Hell, the bad park could be where workers are sent when they mentally snap. The guests are told that it's just part of the theme, like one of those restaurants where the waiters insult you.

Like other people have said, it's just too busy and incoherent. The pacing and tone would have to be completely reworked to turn this into something more interesting.

That's the part I don't understand. I know he burned a lot of bridges, and I have no idea if he's on good-terms with Zach, but he has to have some connections in the industry to make a real pilot. He's friends with Justin Roiland, and Justin definitely helped Zach network with Adult Swim to make his show, so I can't see how Arin couldn't manage to get the same treatment. He could even drag the Wolfhard brothers into it since they're fans of his too. The pilot is such a void of creativity, it's so sloppy and aimless that I don't even think he wrote a script for it. Arin probably just picked some random topic and improvised everything as he went along--which would explain the amount of explosions and shit jokes. He absolutely has the clout and resources to pull together a competent production team so why didn't he? Again, this is just me speculating but it's hard not to see this as anything but pure contempt for Zach. Even down to the name of his pilot, "Happyland Incorporated."
It's pathetic.
It's not even people in the industry that he needs, Arin just needs a friend that has the balls to criticize him. This is a pilot for a new show, something that you want to get right in order to lay the foundation for the future. When you create something like this you show it to people to get their feedback, making sure that the jokes and ideas are coming across, as well as ensuring that the content is actually good. The fact that not only did Arin release this, but people allowed him to release it in this mess of a state is actually embarrassing.

I’d rather watch the troon show Dead End Paranormal Park because it’s the same premise with an aids plot line.

It's the exact same shit he was making 10 years ago just with more blacks.

You can see the progress he has made over the years.
Its not even progress since he outsourced his animation, it's just a huge leap back and he dragged others down with him

Arin is credited as the creator when he just came up with the idea for the premise and did voices that all sound the same while other people made the actual animation, including writing the script.

It reminds me of how Chris Chan wanted Sega to make a Sonichu game for him while Chris got a vague "creator" role where Sega pays him to tell the developers actually making the game what to do.

Dobson said the same thing too years ago before he got a life

I thought it was just a few months ago when people were wondering who would hit 1 million subs first, since Oneyplays and Supermega were both at around 970k. Chris got to a million in January and Supermega still hasnt gotten there nearly a year later.

I think supersmegma bought subs or some shit because they randomly made it to 998k but only had 2 vids where they did something decent but still get like below fuckin 100k views (not counting the hot wings and leaving supermega vids)

I'm certain that if they never did that BLM episode of their podcast they'd hit 1 million as that episode alienated the fuck out of anyone that gave them the time of day except the retarded twitter fanbase that clapped when they called out jontron for brownie points

Apologies for the low-hanging fruit. I was watching a (very) early Dan episode and this made me smirk:

dangirls.mp4
:story:
>"Dan is a slut"
>"Judeo-Christian society fucked up sex for everybody"
>"I genuinely have to care about the girl if I wanna have sex with her, but apart from that we don't need to be in a relationship"

- So, Dan, what did you think of my pilot, pretty rad, huh?
- ... Oh, i think i hear the doorbell, gotta go!
- But we are at a restaurant?
- Byyye!

Dan is impressed by literally everything so chances are he'll clap like a jewish seal that sees the fishbucket coming.

They now made it to 1 million subscribers lmao. Now I'm really convinced that they bought bots or something. How does a channel that upload slop and were stuck in the 979k subscriber count just randomly get 21k of subs lol
