In one of their newer Twilight Princess episodes, Dan and Arin are talking about the possibility of revisting Sonic '06.

That's all Brian and TWRP. Dan doesn't know shit about anything but singing, which he's just okay at, hence the effects heavy bullshit they pull on his vocals. I think in a recent AMA he admitted that he hadn't played bass in years, but I couldn't get you anything more concrete right now.

You know, the fact that Arin and Dan never finished 06 or even touched the game was a very decent thing to do. Not too long ago, if I heard they were playing it or thinking about playing it, I would have been sad and upset. Right now? I almost hope they do it.

I want to see how far they'll push the JonTron name embargo while they do it. Will Jon get a small mention at the beginning and then silence the rest of the way? Will Arin reminisce about playing it with Jon at all? I don't think they'll even mention him. I think the closest they'll come to acknowledging Jon is with a few tongue in cheek jokes about never playing Sonic 06 before. And mostly, well, I just want to see the idiotic fanbase tear itself to pieces over whatever they end up doing with the game.

It'll be a shitstorm whether the playthrough is actually good or the usual Game Grumps garbage.

They can't go back to Sonic 06 for multiple reasons. First major reason is that they would have to acknowledge the "forbidden" person who played games with Arin before Danny. If they playthrough it and act like Jon never existed they will get nonstop shit for it. Second is that they'll try to recapture the magic of what was in the original playthrough. The problem with that is that the modern type of "Grump" humor is completely different from the humor 7 years ago. You'll get loads of people comparing it to the OG playthrough, (witch will always be the best version). Third is if they continue where Jon and Arin left off, or start a whole new playthrough. If they just followed where the old one stopped, it would be done in like 6 episodes, maybe more to account for the shitty editing. It will be a train wreck no matter how they play it.

I know user tamago posted about this almost two months back, but I wondered if anyone had any updates or insight to the dropsofviolet/KT person re: her relationship with Suzy & Arin. YouTuber "Creepshowart" posted a video in which she shows her viewers many of the tweets that tamago posted and it ignited a bunch of people tweeting at her and she has been trying to post new information. Plus I just found more posts on her twitter of her just being wild as shit.

I'll leave with this one for now because it's the funniest one. IDK about you guys, but it would not surprise me at all to find out Suzy has been on this girl's twitter for years if she really was insecure about arin and KT's friendship, or whatever it was.

It's honestly kind of a huge clusterfuck but it's entertaining as hell. You all might be able to check on her twitter and find more interesting/damning topics, or more times where she's batshit and corrected for being so. I just didn't know if anyone else was wondering about an update to her, and was hoping some other folks had info as well.

It's definitely something to keep an eye out for, but until more damning stuff comes from this - if it ever does escalate, that is - I'd consider sticking it in the "crazed Grump stalkers" pile, right next to that one NSP fan who went apeshit over the reveal of Dan's girlfriend.

Entertaining? Yes. Something to pin Suzy or Arin on? Eeeeeh, let's wait and see.

I predict that if they ever continue playing Sonic '06, they'll put 'JonTron' in the title of the first episode. When Jon uploads a video, he gets a gazillion views within the first few hours. Brand recognition works. Plus, it'll rustle the jimmies of both the current fans and the former fans, just enough to give their stupid video attention. If Arin really wants to play online business shit, that's what he'd do.

The only way this would work is if GameGrumps started Sonic ‘06 exactly where it was left off and it’s Arin and Jon playing while Arin keeps referring to Jon as ‘Dan’ as if it’s always been like that. Meanwhile, the two just rip into Jon continuously. Perfect comedy right there

I'm more inclined to believe that - if they actually acknowledge that Arin had played Sonic 06 in the past - Jon will not be mentioned by name. If any reference is made to the past playthrough, Arin would probably say something along the lines of having had less than happy memories connected to the last time he played the game and feeling it was high time he took it back up - making happier memories with his best friend, Dan.

Something nauseating like that.
 
They should have done an April Fool's joke In which they title a video "Guest Grumps: Sonic '06 with JonTron!" complete with the old Jon intro, then it just ends up being the next video in a current series. I keep waiting for them to do that every year.
