I've seen a two hour compilation of every time Arin screws up in the ocarina of time series. Dan is pretty funny when it's at the expense of making fun of Arin's incompetence, but in the end, Dan either silently agrees or is totally neutral.

Yep, that’s what I figured.

Either lean into the kids’ show angle and go full-blown clean and sterile or have floppy black cock and semen edits: you can’t have both, especially if they could get you demonetized.

I somehow highly doubt that, but given how they’re always talking about being very close to losing their money and firing people, it really activated the almonds as to why they’d risk it with these edits.

Weak explanation is weak; considering you can't see her ears to see she's actually wearing some or evidence of Dan using a music device for her to use them with (music notes drifting around her head would better show she's listening to music if Airpods can't be seen). And do Uber driver's usually have friends tag along when driving customers from place to place for the express purpose of playing said customer music? (also, that explanation doesn't help deter the belief that the female passenger is supposedly Dan's gf). Whoever came up with that explanation needs to try harder.

Honestly, if a character isn't part of the Grump team or a character that existed in a game they've played in the past, random characters don't belong in Grumps merch.

Most videos after Barry stopped editing had little to no funny edits. Most of it would be Arin and Dan asking the editor something and the editor putting text up to respond in the video. I remember there being a part where Dan and Arin spent well over a minute asking the editor to insert a Godzilla into the video and made that an entire bit. Too bad the editor decided to do nothing with it so that whole time was just two guys laughing at a still landscape.
Those text response edits are pretty much all the editors did for months (maybe years) at GameGrumps.

Now all of a sudden there seems to be an editor that actually does something. The fans probably take what they can get.
 
Supermega once on their podcast talked about how Arin had ordered that they dident do any over editing. like to pretty much only check the audio and video.

The only reason it isn't called that is because of the amount of traction that "Game Grumps" name had at the time and how Arin wanted to keep that baked in audience.

As an aside, Arin goes out of his way frequently to refer to it as "my show".
