The new person moving in to the old office is getting rid of all the decorations. (4:23)
Arin was not happy with that response. (4:50)

Of course the new owner is going to get rid of everything you dipshit, your renovations fucked up the AC system that forced your "best friend" to move his streaming gear to his apartment. What, do you really expect the guy's clients are going to file a case with a straight face if they kept the arcade cabinets and amiibos?

Hell, if Arin doesn't want any of those things destroyed, pay someone to uninstall them and transport whatever can be salvaged over to the new place.

It's quite serendipitous that whenever we reach these milestones, massive info dumps seem to come out. This time, they've finally gone into detail on their new office, what's gonna happen with the old one, and how Arin continues to waste his large amounts of money on useless decor instead of putting the money somewhere useful.

A law office apparently moved into where they are now and, shockingly, no self-respecting law office wants a Portal-themed bathroom and weeaboo shit plastered all over the office. Also they apparently couldn't be arsed to move the old decor out and into the new bigger office, instead opting for entirely new renovations once they move in despite what the timestamp says (while they're not going as big, they're still making shit like having two huge double doors that are carved into the shape of G's).

...I give them credit that they decided to own the actual building this time, but that and the new decor they plan to put in seems like an even worse waste of money than previous, if that's even possible.
Money doesn't matter to Arin, it seems. I honestly think he's never had to work for his money. He thinks just throwing it around, building all this useless shit is worth it.

While awesome, their new office is useless outside of being a place to brag about and entertain guests at. They do a 100% no cam show, there’s no reason to deck out your office/studio if 90% of the time it will never be shown.
Ironically, they have a space that is more deserving of being on cam than almost any streamer/lets player ever. Further making it a colossal waste of money.
Also, was it just me, or has every video shown inside it been oddly dim? Like the lights were off or something.

Also, note to self: never sperg about Oney. That may have been my most unpopular post I’ve made here

It's weird, video games use stage actors more and more often these days because it's smart - they're cheaper than dedicated voice actors and there's less e- or union drama. If I had to cast voice actors for an indie title I'd go with stage actors, but I guess they wouldn't market your games for free.

IIRC that's how Disney used to get actors for their animations. They hired people from musicals.

Ross Update: He's just uploaded a video detailing everything that's been going on regarding his mother and his life so far...and it's all looking pretty grim.
  • His mom's cancer is late stage; Ross states it's "very bad" and "severe", but doesn't know how bad it actually is until he gets there and sees the situation for himself.
  • Ross uses a lot of jumpcuts to hide this, but in nearly every single one you can easily tell he's almost about to completely break down on-camera but keeps his composure throughout; he's an emotional wreck.
  • He will not be returning to Grumps' content online, but will continue to livestream when he can, and has YouTube videos backlogged for use on his channel once he comes back.
  • He will be traveling to Oz on Monday to meet with his mother and family, and he will continue to do so, flying in and out to check on her and make sure she's okay and getting the treatment she needs, for the next year or so.
  • This is going to be in-between Twitch Con/Scribble Showdown, which he acknowledges is not the place to be discussing doing this/shilling his merch, but he feels it better to prepare people and acknowledge what's happening rather than leave fans hanging; he's trying his best to balance both of these things because he actively wants to go to these events of his own accord, and on top of that doesn't want to disappoint fans by being a no-show.
  • His dad is also a general practitioner, so they will be trying their best to find the best people to take care of her.
  • He's really self-conscious about posting this video because he feels that every YouTuber does it, he doesn't want to waste people's time, doesn't want to feel like someone pleading for sympathy, and is gutted at the timing of all of this.
  • He may do IRL streams in his hometown if the situation isn't as severe as he thinks it is, but right now things are still incredibly rocky and scattered to the fucking wind.
Sorry this little tidbit of info is more depressing than funny, but now we know definitively that Ross, for very obvious reasons, will not be appearing on Game Grumps (or be online) as much for the time being.

...On a lighter note, at least Gameoverse is in the pitching phase...so he won't need to work on that as much anymore, like was previously thought. Also also Ross has a new girlfriend, so he won't be/isn't as completely alone as was once thought either. So, silver lining, I guess?

EDIT: I've said it before, and I'll say it again: Ross cannot seem to catch a fucking break.

Fucking hell... Ross just can't ever catch a break. I seriously hope for the best for him, and hope things end up good for his mother and his family.

Jesus Christ, Dan looks like he's aged 5 years since January.

Well, Dan is 40 and not only does he have to deal with the likes of Arin, but he has a girlfriend who is almost half his age who no doubt expects him to fit her into his hectic schedule.

That would suck the life out of anyone.

Not to mention getting a higher quality performance by people who take the art seriously, not "silly voices = acting!"

Think of the 9 classes of tf2. Now imagine if they were all voiced by clones of arin doing annoying cartoon voices and the writing was really obnoxious and made by gum gramps.

Game grumps fandom is weird to me. I skipped that whole generation and only ever knew Arin as Egoraptor who had pretty high quality animations for the time on Newgrounds. He participated in this masterpiece from awhile back too https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/551252 (don't actually watch it, it's bad on purpose). I never really discovered or cared about GG until I read about the drama whenever Jon left, but as a result I discovered Jon's stuff which was actually fairly amusing since its always a big spectacle. I feel like Jon probably won out in the end in terms of quality content, but kids will remember Arin more since he's part of their daily routine. It's sad to think there's people who will be nostalgic about those 15 minute segments of mostly nothing.

Edit: I should have pre-watched that link since I haven't seen it in years, looks like they trimmed off 19 minutes of it from the original for some reason

How is the one likeable member of their posse the one that gets the worst deck in life, and still be genuinely cool about it?
He’s legitimately impossible to hate on. Hopefully things pick up for him

The Xchans always say memes are power. What if they're right and the "God Dammit Ross" meme did this?

God has damned Ross.

Yet he's always the brunt of the joke in GG. No wonder he's leaving them and sticking to streaming. He's a downright wholesome gentleman with bad luck

Omg ross :(

Ah jewfro and fuckface are doing voices for a Wayforward game?

Wayforward needs to cut the voice acting. It's bad enough we got thirsty crazy Cunanan style thot Cristina Vee as Shantae.

Looks like they removed everything except the Stamper parts? So instead of being a collab it's just a Stamper cartoon now. Weird.
