Yeah it's this childlike, foaming at the lips attitude they have when the game grumps do ANYTHING. It's honestly worrying how so many people do that weird baby talk and want to see Arin and Danny as girls and sleeping together, or the extreme hostility to those who talk negatively about that shitty channel. Has Arin been building this autistic Outer Heaven the whole fucking time?

This happens with literally all ecelebs. Its just people using them to replace real social interaction, the reasons for someone drinking the kool-aid might be different from one another, but it all has the same end state. Hell on this sub forum you can see it with people defending a certain boomer to death. Thankfully most of them arent actually that smart due to them being blinded by whatever rose tinted glasses they see their favorite eceleb with. That just makes them easier to find and laugh at.

If screaming about their "pussssaaayyyy" and needing a new diaper in response to some crappy obscure merch is their idea of real social interaction, no wonder they have no real life friends and have to use Game Grumps as a friendship simulator.

I'm guessing he didn't made copies of more recent art because either his art hasn't progressed much since or, as one could tell in the few Doodle Doods episodes he was featured in, he's way out of practice. Not like having a dedicated section of the store to selling, y'know, the main thing he was known for in the NG days is a bad idea per se, but not only he picked the worst examples of his work, the timing for this announcement is awful since it's obvious he's doing it because the channel is bleeding money.

Of all the merch that they could push; art prints/posters is a really craptacular choice to go with if they want to make a quick/tidy profit - as art prints/posters don't seem to sell all that well on their merch site (most of the posters/prints they currently have listed have been in stock for the better part of a year before finally getting a 'low stock' sticker - and even in that case, out of the six that have been in stock before Arin's prints were included, only one got that sticker. Either they have an over abundance in stock when it comes to these prints/posters or there just isn't that much of a demand for them).

Is Arin that arrogant that he thinks his old art prints will fair much better than the far more talented artists they've commissioned for the past art prints - just because of his name?
 
"myyy pussssaaaayyyy" is a running joke from game grumps, the diaper thing is a well known game grumps quote, too.

Not because of the quality of the video, but because of their subscriber count and fanbase?

I know we all want to believe Game Grumps is losing popularity and Jontron is outperforming them, but let's take a look at reality for a second.

Game Grumps views are way low compared to their subscriber count! People must be losing interest! Not really. If you look at other big channels that put out daily content, having about one in ten subscribers watch each video is pretty common. Game Grumps has about 5 million subscribers so 500k is about expected.

But Jontron gets ten times as many views as Game Grumps! Jontron has about the same number of subscribers and gets 10x as many views, but he puts out videos so rarely that of course his videos are gonna get more views. If he put out a video each day he'd see a large drop in views per video as well.

Well Jon is still getting more views regardless so he's still winning, right? Nope. If Jon puts out one video a month and gets 5 million views per video, then he gets 5 million views per month. If Game Grumps puts out a video a day ( about 30 videos a month) and gets 500,000 views per video, then they get 15 million views per month. That means Game Grumps is being watched three times as much as Jontron.

I do not have a horse in the race, but wouldnt this mean its a core set of people watching the game grumps, while johntron has more unique viewers? Sure its the a similar bottom line. But there is a difference there.
