That "Dad?" joke has been going on for years hasn't it? How could "comedians" not tell when an already unfunny joke is LONG dead.

I think they can; but because the Lovelies encourage it by quoting them at nauseum, they keep doing it.

Why flex your creative muscles by trying something new (that preferably doesn't include trying to dupe your fanbase) when you can just play it safe/be lazy by repeating the same gag over and over again because your juvenile fanbase find it hilarious (like jangling keys in front of a baby's face)?

from their Guts 'n Glory is the most grating, unfunny repeat till' it's funny schtick, especially the "dad?" one since it's basicly the same joke and carries over multiple episodes. When my epic Ninja-movie galore project is done i might do a supercut to prove my point...

Unless someone else is up to the task.... Dad?
I fucking love Guts and Glory and holy shit it is legendary how Arin forgot how to use the boost button immediately after he learned.

If you read between the lines, take his words and run them through 7 decryptors, follow the clues, and solve the case of Jack the ripper; he has no idea what hes doing is dumb and is just plowing forward with his shitty idea because obvious if you smash your skull against a wall long enough you'll break through.
Given how he's still dependant on poop jokes as the crux of his "comedy" and the fucking same single beat box beat he's been doing for years, could we expect anything less from him?

Not gonna lie. First episode with it were fun. But after the third episode with it... i just gave up

Seriously forgetting something that fast must require super human levels of retardation

Seriously forgetting something that fast must require super human levels of exceptionalism

I've heard that when he and Jon played "Banjo-Kazooie", he didn't think to use his recently learned ranged attack on the nearby out of range boss. Is that true?

Arin's continued desperate attempt at getting an ego boost continues with yet another 'Uncle Cecil' tweet; this time, he's asking fans to send his 'uncle' fan mail through their (the Grumps) P.O.Box; which - if I'm reading it right - he'll reply to if self addressed stamped envelopes are included in the fanmail.

Gotta turn that horse in to glue goddamn it.

So in other words, you are paying to get a letter from Arin's totally real uncle who totally won't have one of his paid underlings write the response for him?

What's the end goal here? They aren't making any money off this (unless they are banking on the exceptional fans to post them money regardless)

Assuming anyone bothers to respond, at all. Lack of replies could always be explained away as 'Cecil' being a douche; and the Lovelies would totally eat it up because 'it's in character'.

It's strictly an ego thing, at this point. Reassurance to Arin that his skit was a success.

I sure hope people don't send "Cecil" letters explaining their very true feelings about the whole thing :story:

Look how good Arin is at marketing!

It would be awful; considering Arin's self proclaimed mental issues (didn't he talk about having severe depression in that Ghoul Grumps 'apology' video from a few years back?)

If he did say that it wouldn't shock me, considering that's the #1 method for making people feel sorry for you. "I can get mad sometimes. I've been struggling mentally. I was out picking up boulders with my kid"

That and talking about insecure you are about your channel's content.
