Watching that video made me realise that Arin's got no chin, he's a chinlet.I just noticed Arin's actually dyed his hair pink again. That was... what... several months of him not keeping that up even though it was being praised as this "new look"? At least he actually did a better job this time compared to last though he probably just got someone else to do it for him this time

Ben, being the professional with high standards that he is, decided to take it upon himself to use the magic of Google image searches to try and find images for the finale for Monopoly. He then supposedly proceeded to find a "free clipart site" and used an image of a turtle to use, thinking nobody would notice.
The person who made that work that got her art taken by these sites, however, did notice. And the artist, FourRule, isn't very happy right now.

Of course they aren't that mad at Game Grumps, and wish them no ill will, but Lovelies found someone detracting from the norm of Game Grumps and blaming their Gods, and we can't very well have that, now can we?

He wouldn't have known the art was stolen by the clip art site.

No, but as someone in the Reddit thread pointed out; they knew they weren't allowed to use it. The image itself is on no reputable stockphoto website and the one site it was found on (NicePNG) clearly says the images aren't allowed to be used for commercial use. So they fucked up either way.

Regardless of whether it’s a big deal or not, I won’t hesitate to point out this whole fuckup could have been avoided if they stuck to the old thumbnail design.

Or Arin, someone who in the past drew things, draw it himself. I know he wouldn't because that requires he put in some effort in his work, and he hasn't tried that since before Jon left GG.

It's not like Google Image Search doesn't have tools that would allow Ben to specify that he's looking for specific licenses, or that there aren't plenty of stock image websites out there he could've used. As a relatively well-known business that's the least amount of professionalism GG could show, I think.
