It’s really amazing how all of his points are objectively flawed. This guy explains it really well.
https://youtube.com/watch?v=qJbG-N2ksvEI linked to this video before, it’s really well done.
Holy shit thanks for linking that.

I never really watched any GameGrumps, I mostly know Arin as EgoRaptor, so I thought a lot of you were overstating how bad he is at videogames - but I think he might actually have a learning disability. It's seriously like watching a pinheaded retar,d banging a square head into a round hole.

It makes his behaviour and everything else so much clearer - it's a miracle he learned how to draw and animate so well. I'm reminded of that scene from Breaking Bad where Walt's teaching Jr. how to drive, and Jr. insists on driving by keeping one foot on the gas and the other on the brake. Walt insists that you shouldn't do it because it's the wrong way to drive, Jr. continues to do this anyway and crashes the car.

It's funny how many accurate analogies you can make between Arin Hanson and literal r'etards.

Arin has ADD.

My impression of Dan is that he has a rather simple outlook on life. I'm doubtful he's really thought about how he'll get along post-Game Grumps.

He'd probably end up moving in with family and mooch off of them until they got sick of him.

Or he'll move in with his girlfriend and have her support his ass for awhile (aspiring animators make bank, right? j/k)

If I'm not mistaken, Ross still gets a Game Grumps paycheck despite no longer contributing to the company, which seems a little scummy to me. On the other hand, Arin hires way more people than he needs, so perhaps I should blame him for that instead of blaming Ross for taking an easy paycheck.

Isn't he still working on that animation he's been plugging on for the last - what? - five years?

I wasn't clear if Ross's cartoon was going to be released under the Grumps brand, assuming it ever gets finished.

Arin becoming a voice actor for "major" projects with his current skills, is the exact reason why people do not respect voice actor's in the west.

Whenever he does voice acting, most of the time he just does it in his normal voice so that people will recognize him.
Hmm yes acting. You know, there is a literal show for children in Japan called Kamen rider, and it's pretty common for them to have decently big celebs in the cast. You know what those celebrities do in the kid's show? They act the part.

While over here you have egoraptor playing himself in whatever the fuck.

I don't if that speaks more to the quality of work he is able to take part in, or the amount of effort he is willing to put in.

Thank you I don't think I've ever seen a more perfect set of images to describe Arin's gaming ability than the one you posted. I think it's been discussed he has a genuine learning disability, but it was handwaved as just ADD.

I feel like this is sending a lot of mixed messages...

These books are still under the pre-order stage, right? Imagien if folks who pre-ordered read that first chapter, realized they made a terrible mistake and quickly cancelled their order.

Let's be real, the people that preordered that shit book based off of this "arg" are not smart enough to cancel that preorder.

The excerpt was about as disappointingly ghost-written as I expected. It’s not insanely bad, but it’s not anything good either.
